What's your excuse for your god murdering scores of people every other page in the OT? Are you going to disregard that, too, and pretend that's not what the Bible says?

Worse yet is the false parallel of comparing a forum disagreement with actual persecutions such as xtian-instigated Crusades, Inquisitions, witch hunts and forced cultural assimulations.  Those persecutions resulted in millions of deaths and the suppression/extinction of pagan cultures at the hands of xtians and under the blood-soaked banner of xtianity.
