Shaving Gel
« on: November 07, 2012, 08:19:26 pm »
After trying many shaving gel products, Gillette has finally come out with a shaving gel that is great.  It is great in two different ways.  First, it is totally clear and produces little or no lather.  This makes it easy to avoid shaving areas on your face that you don't want to shave.

The second way it is great is that it leaves a lubricating film on your face and with a little water, you can go over it again with an electric razor.  Or if you prefer, you can just use an electric razor after applying it initially.  One final bonus is that it is not an aerosol.  It is a squeeze tube, so that one 6 oz tube can last you many times longer than regular shaving gel or shaving cream.

Sounds different! I like Gillette brand but i'm on a budget and can't afford to buy it right now.  I currently use Barbasol! :P

Sounds like gel is better than cream based on your results. Which is good.

However here is a tip for your shaving cream before you toss it. If your mirror fogs up during your bath or shower you can stop it for a while by putting shaving cream onto before your next bath/shower. Apply a little and rub it in. It last for a while before your mirror will start to fog up again. I saw this on PBS years ago and it really works even with the cheap dollar store brands.

Let me know if this helps.

I much prefer gel to cream.  I've tried the Gillette Gel in the past and thought it worked great.

This sounds like the beginning to an essay or school paper, lol.
