Blessed not stressed
« on: November 03, 2012, 09:38:03 pm »
Hello my name is Shayla. I am new on here and this is my first post. I am a mother of 9 beautiful children some of them are older and gone but we still have 5 small children at home that range from 7 down to 6 months. I am blessed with a wonderful soon to be husband that loves the kids and I so much! Our 4 year old daughter Samya has Retinoblastoma wich is eye cancer...Samya has lost her right eye due to this and is now in chemotherapy because of this nasty disease! She has had 2 surgerys the first one to remove her eye because it was just one big mass of cancer...then her second one for her Port placement the port is used for the type of chemo that Samya recieves ! My beautiful baby girl has remained so strong, loving, caring, happy, outgoing, cheerful and has faith in God knowing that she is going to be just fine! Isnt it amazing how reziliant children are and how well they adjust...I am so thankfullod to have her still with us and I know that my God is  bigger then this and he has everything under control he has a plan in all this we will walk away with such a huge testimony and for that I am so grtreateful to my King! That is why my subject is "Blessed not stressed" because we have so much to be thannkful for like the gift of life!! Samya Lashay Katherine Williams mommie loves you so much she is my hero!

No, you believe such superstitious nonsense and feel somehow compelled to propagandize such false religious attributions.  The more accurate thread title would therefore be, 'obsessed, not rational', due to the blind faith basis of the religious belief.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Wow!! 1 out of 3 responses are very rude Im almost in shock!! How dare you say that my faith is false I have seen and been the miracle so how dare you say superstion wow! I am disgusted right now....If it was your little girl that had cancer and you had decided to talk about  this wouldnt you feel disgusted by the ignorance of people such as your self??? You should be ashamed it is not about the way that i choose to live my life or what I believe in but about the fact that this is so heart wrenching what my baby is having to endure! On a better note thanks to all of you that have compassion in your heart and for your thoughts and prayers I say thank you!! There are so many ignorant people in this world so much hate this is what I as a parent try to protect my children from by teaching them morals and respect how to care and share not only about things but feelings and emotions to grow up to be real women and men responsable reliable good heart folks that will stand firm and strong on their faith and to not ever be torn down by other poeples views and opinions!

Wow!! 1 out of 3 responses are very rude Im almost in shock!!

Wow, a response isn't "rude" if it agrees with your religious superstitions and 'is' if it does not?  These are FC forums, not some xtian newsgroup where faith-based nonsense can go unopposed.

How dare you say that my faith is false ...?

I didn't say it was false, I stated that the religious attributions were not supported by factual evidence and that blind faith does not constitute actual evidence.

I have seen and been the miracle so how dare you say superstion wow!

An unwarranted attribution to a supernatural cause was disputed due to the lack of valid evidence to support it.  Superstitious religious beliefs do not constitute valid evidence.  Challenging such spurious attributions and religious supestitions is not inherently "rude" just because the faith-blinded say so.

Ssink1 just ignore the trolls on here.  The majority of us on here are decent people.  There's one in particular who is a sad, miserable, wretched, joke of a human being (I dare even call them human).   Don't let the trolls steal your joy.  The ignore button is your friend.  Use it and your time here will be much more tolerable.

My replies were not "harassing this woman", they were in dissent with the religious assumptions publically posted.  When will you religious zealots cease with the false accusations based on your own religious biases?  I challenged the superstitious belief system, not the faith-blinded believer herself, (whom I don't know - the belief system, I do know enough about to challenge).  Get a functioning mind!

You were out and out rude to her, and instead, could have said something about her little one, since she's the one being spoken of.  Good grief, falcon9, where is your kindness towards a little girl?

Your 'ride to the rescue of the poor, weak faith-blinded xtian' is an obvious pretext.

Try to shrug off the meanness of the reply you are speaking of.  Some people don't believe in God or that there is a god, and that's definitely their choice.  But to cut someone down giving a heartfelt praise, even considering what your precious little one, you, and your family have gone through, is inconsiderate and intolerant of your belief and post.

Thank you for sharing about your wonderful family and your amazing daughter!  I will place her and your family in my prayer journal.  Welcome to FC, and it's very nice to meet you.  Your post is an inspiration to me.  :)
