Watched Zootopia and I have to say that I liked it much better than Big Hero 6.  I never get tired of those ‘believe in yourself’ plots and Lt. Judy Hopps was just inspirational as the ‘glass is always half full’ attitude.  Ginnifer Goodwin played her perfectly, but then like as Snow White on Once Upon a Time.   I also loved the fact that no matter who told Judy to give up on her dreams (including her own parents) she never did.  I also liked Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde.  He provided the exact sarcasm needed to tone down Judy’s hyper happy attitude.

Honestly, I’m surprised how well the Conjuring 2 did.  I got the first one because of Lili Taylor.  Horror is definitely her niche.  I am glad they used Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson to reprise their roles as Lorraine Warren.  I didn’t think it wouldn’t really do well but it seemed to at least connect to the first one.  I was disappointed that Annablle didn’t connect to the opening scene in the Conjuring.

Disney played it real smart when they released Finding Dory.  They did it at the start of summer when kids were just out of school and it literally had no competition.  Now they’re is the Secret Life of Pets, and though I know it won’t make nearly as much, it will take away some of the thunder.  To be frank I’m glad they did Finding Dory.  I only watch Finding Nemo because of Ellen DeGeneres.  I really love her and watch her show whenever I can find the time.

I want to see Central Intelligence. Looks really funny. Plus the duo of Kevin Hart with Dwayne Johnson.

I haven't been to the movies in about 2 years. I don't even remember the last movie I saw! Mainly because the movies are just too expensive nowadays, but also because I don't really have anyone to go with. My boyfriend is diabetic, so he has to use the bathroom frequently so he'd rather not pay for a movie to have to get up and go pee every 20 minutes.

I only like the first Avengers movie and the Iron man movies are good too. I thought they made Iron man 3 already. Robert Downey Jr. is Hot. I want to see the secret lives of pets. It looks funny and I think my kids would enjoy it too.

I just saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 at a matinee special at the local historic theatre.
I laughed a LOT!  There were many hilarious situations where the whole theatre was busting out!

Most people in my family love to watch movies but I am not really a movie goer. I do enjoy re-watching some of the classics.

I think the only two movies I really am looking forward to coming out are Doctor Strange and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.  I won’t get excited over Assassin’s Creed when Warcraft was such a dud.  As for Ben-Hur and The Magnificent Seven, has Hollywood really lost it’s imagination that we must now go back to classic movies and remake them (since we really can’t make them better).  I mean let’s face it.  Ben-Hur won 11 academy awards.  Why was it even attempted to be remade?  That has to be desperation!  Lately there are better things being produced on tv than in the movie productions these days.

I rented Kung Fu Panda 3 (though I flat out bought the first two) because I was afraid of what would happen to Mr Ping.  He’s raised Po since childhood and it’s a common problem when every child finds out their adopted, they want to find their birth parents.  It’s why a lot of parents don’t want to adopt.  It’s like ‘who cares about the parents that raised them I need to find out who gave me up because they’re my real parents’.  I’m glad Po never looked at Mr. Ping as anything but his father even when his biological father shows up.  I’m also glad that it’s Mr. Ping that unites the family when Po splits with his biological father Li who lied to him.

Honestly, I had to go see what all the fuss was about with Central Intelligence.  Now I’m a huge Rock fan so if Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson is in a movie I usually go see it which is why I was curious.  Now while Dwayne Johnson was great, it’s Kevin Hart that makes the movie.  He had me laughing so hard I was crying.  Honestly it’s the best comedy I’ve seen Spy last year with Mellissa McCarthy.  Kevin Hart is just hilarious.  I’ve never actually seen any of his movies before but after seeing his comedic skills, I certainly will watch his other stuff.  He did not disappoint at all!
