I live in Pa and are waiting for Sandy to hit.  One of my friends lost power already.  Please keep us and everyone in your prayers that we stay safe.  Thanks

That's incrediably irresponsible religious advice.  Instead, seek what shelter that can be found and don't 'trust' some hypothetical supernatural egregore to intervene in a natural event.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I am keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers up there.  I know you must be somewhere safe and sheltered, and hope everything will be okay.

We are still getting the rain and winds from sandy, I live in the Northern Neck area of Virginia and we are gettting gust up to 50mph. Stay safe up north!! I have relatives in NJ and NY and I hope they stay safe also. Not that I normally comment on people like Falcon9 but, he should have a tree fall somewhere close to him. I don't wish that a tree fall on him, just close to him, maybe then he will get some spiritual belief!!!

Falling trees don't confer "spiritual belief", even if they're conifers. Nor would any type of tree cause such since the supersitious religious 'sentiment' expressed is not only a specious religious belief itself but, an inherently hostile one.  That being the case, under the "golden rule", I could have someone "wish" that 'Sandy' cause your property damage in order to remove any doubts about the causes of such storms.
