Are you going to vote?
« on: October 28, 2012, 04:10:27 pm »
Remember, it's our right to vote, and not everyone gets that right!  If you choose not to vote, in a way you still are and if you don't like how things are going, you have the chance to change that right now!  GO OUT AND VOTE!

I was very disapointed years ago when I had a meeting after work and decided to vote on my way home. Once I got in my vehicle I turned on the radio and they were announcing the new president. I know how it works but was still a little disapointed.

I am going to vote for everything, but I'm mostly concerned with the props concerning the college tuition. I know that our votes for the presidency matter but only to a certain extent. I was taught that electoral votes is what really matters and popular vote isn't as important.

I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

Although I did not vote in college (ignorance, I guess--had no idea at the time how to get an absentee ballot), I have voted in elections ever since!  It is so important--and I believe all of our opinions in general are more important than ever with all the social networking, blogging, etc.  It also seems like more and more polls are being taken.  And no one can complain about government if they don't participate in voting!

No one is going to know whether you vote in an election or not.  The freedom of speech is what makes this country great. You have the right to tell people what you think whether you vote or not.

Very few people have lost an election because they didn't one vote. Presidential elections are won and loss by hundreds of thousands or even millions.

Just my two cents, worth.

I already voted.  I voted Saturday because I will be working out of town on election day that that day was the only chance for me.  Waited in line an hour and 1/2.

I will definitely vote, not only is it my right but my obligation to participate in the one of the most important events as a citizen. If you don't vote you don't have the right to complain. Vote your conscience and you can sleep easy at night.
