Superstitious magical intercessory rituals, ("prayers" or 'crossing fingers'), aren't going to physically protect those in a hurricane's path.  Those who have no shelter can try to seek it in public buildings or wherever they can actually find it.

My husband I are as  prepared as we are going to be. We have enough food to sustain us for a while and most importantly a roof over our heads. Our son lives outside Atlantic City, NJ. He is on his way to a hotel @ 1 hour away.

I hope those without homes find shelters. This is not the weather to be out in.

I live in North Dakota, no huricanes but we had a very bad flood a summer ago. My prayers for those in danger.

My friend in VA is also prepared. I'm hoping all will be okay and he will be fine. All other people be safe and do what you got to do.

I have a sister in new jersey with 2 kids.  They decided to leave and take a vacation somewhere else during the storm.  That is perfect planning.  I hope and pray for everyone else to be safe during these storms.
