I assume they must be inner-city kids who don't get a chance to go to the zoo when they're younger.

i really hate when that happens too. i don't see much point in posting if you aren't going to go back and look for responses.. it kindof defeats the purpose..

Your right..... I read the posts and realize that people aren't always reading before commenting.  They repeat what others just posted without realizing it.
I  check topics but I don't post for the sake of just posting.... only if it makes sense to

I don't always go back and read old posts I posted in.  I gave my opinion and that's all that needed to be said.  Unless I ask a specific question that I want an answer to I will check back but if not then I don't really feel the need to go back and look at them.
