Letter to Reverend Al Sharpton
« on: October 24, 2012, 04:21:57 pm »
Dear Mr Sharpton,
I am curious as to why your not making noise about yesterdays shooting of a Nassau County Police officer, and a motorist that got carjacked. Stop the violence should be coming out of your mouth, if I were you i'd be ceasing the opportunity to express the outrage of the violence brings, and the pain it leaves behind. If this were a young african american male, oh but wait, Mr Facey is an african American male, if it was a young hispanic male, wait again, Police officer Lopez was a young hispanic, the difference is that it was a male african American that was not a "COP" that did the shooting and killing. Does it make this less in value somehow ?
Does it not fit your criteria of "JUSTICE" ?
Do you think it will give you negative publicity with your captive audience ?
Those two men deserve the same attention you give those other folks, just like the young hispanic male that was accidentally shot while running out of the bodega in the middle of a robbery. Was it tragic that young man died ? ABSOLUTELY, Do you think that officer feels mo remorse in what happened, ABSOLUTELY. I bet you that officer is having nightmares over what happened. The perp that killed officer Lopez and Mr Facey has no remorse, as he had no remorse for the person he tried killing 8yrs ago. You sure did make a lot of noise when Abner Louima was sodomized by Justin Volpi, as you should have, that was outrage, even i was outraged that he would tarnish the department like that. Volpi got 30yrs for that. Was attempted murder not a big enough reason to keep this individual behind bars for a longer period of time. Today Mr Facey would be alive and so would officer Lopez.
Even if you don't want to value Officer Lopez's life, at least value Mr Facey's, he most certainly did not deserve to die like an animal on the side of the road while on the phone with his daughter, he pulled over to help what he thought was a human being in distress. You might say officer Lopez was doing his job, you'd be correct, he was doing what he was paid for.

Good one, "Baud".
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
