dog name

i'm getting a boston terrier soon,been looking for a name to suit,either a girl or boy,i found the name nikko,i think it is very different,it is japanese it means daylight,what do you guys think. ;D

That is a wonderful name for a dog.  Nikko is unusual name have fun with you puppy.

i love it. I think I remember reading somewhere that 2 syllable words were the best for getting a dog to respond. Or maybe that was kids...no doesn't work with my kids :P

 ;D I think that is an awesome name.  My Shih tzu I was going to name precious or baby and the lady who had her for sale as a baby wanted me to go ahead and pick a name so she could start calling the puppy the name.  I couldn't decide but she was so tiny (like a gerbil lol) so I just landed on baby and that is what she is.  She is a mama's girl, sleeps with me and wants me to hold her all the time and she's 3 years old now.  She's still a very small shih tzu.  But anyway I think your name is very exotic and will fit your dog great.   :thumbsup:

nikko means daylight in japanese,my kids liked it so we decided,but my husband liked radar,he loves the mash show,lol
