I know of parnets that have bent over backwards to help theirchildren and still the kids turn around and treat the parents like dirt just because they didn't want to do any chores or help out around the house. They just want to do what they want and you had better give in to them , Hopefully some day he or she will grow up and become good people instead of the way they are.

I do not think most teenagers have the maturity to know the difference between mistreatment and discipline.

:o I think this story makes me want to scream.  That is just ignorance beyond belief.  If someone was molested or beaten by a parent that would be different but this sounds like petty stupid immature stuff.  I realized when I was a parent that it's not an easy job and should make you feel a little more understanding toward your own parents.  Oh well I guess it takes all kinds.  :BangHead:

Unless their parents abused them, neglected them, or did something really big that hurt them, I doubt they have a case.  My parents once forgot to get my a cake on my birthday, and then forgot to get me presents on a different birthday.  Instead of whining about it and suing them, I made it into a comic.  I mean, seriously people, if it's something small that didn't scar you for life, just try to get past it.

Wow... First time I heard of this.  :-
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

They sound like totally ungrateful snipetts who probably had a better life than many.  How do they justify suing their parents because they dont have what it takes within themselves to succeed when people come from homes with virually nothing and make great successes of their lives.

I know you need to take classes to be a mechanic and other professions but being and older parent  i dont think there were classes to be a parent back then perhaps there are classes now?  But i wasnt aware that you couldnt be a parent without a special class.lol  Those two mwn need to growup and not try to make their parents  continue to support themby sueing them or did they want actual jail time for theirparents.

don't think it's a good idea to many lawsuits that don't need to be filed.
