Mind blinding faith blindness isn't "more love"; it's a promotion of an offensive religion responsible for the Third Crusade, after Richard the Lion-Hearted captured Acre in 1191, he ordered 3,000 captives -- many of them women and children -- taken outside the city and slaughtered. Some were disemboweled in a search for swallowed gems. Bishops intoned blessings. Infidel lives were of no consequence. As Saint Bernard of Clairvaux declared in launching the Second Crusade: "The xtian glories in the death of a pagan, because thereby xrist himself is glorified."

I'm not, not have I ever been, a xtian.  Many of the assimulators of the Indian tribes were protestant xtians who considered assimilation necessary to the xtianizing of the Indians. The 19th century was a time of major efforts in evangelizing missionary expeditions to all non-xtian people and was an intentional way to destroy other cultures. In 1865 the U.S. government began to make contracts with various missionary xtian societies to operate Indian schools and undermine native culture by 're-educating', (brain-washing), native children.  Today, there are decendents of these tribes who are either trying to remember the old ways or, are mind blinded 'indian xtians' who don't.

The assimulations referred to were forced attempts by xtians.  Any further attempts at such coercive "assimulations" will be met with force sufficient to resist the xtian "borg".
