My grandmother loves when I make her something on the computer. I combine her pictures with poetry I have found or words from my heart and use that with a nice font and color, plus a border if necessary or other clip art to make her feel special. She said she prefers this to what I would buy her because I made it myself. It also helps when you don't have much money for a gift and can be an original item since you can't purchase it in a store.

My grandparents love to get pictures in albums or holders.
They do not care for framed pictures because they run out of room to display them.
One great thing is those digital frames that rotate pictures every few minutes. That way it only takes up the space of one frame, yet it holds hundreds of pictures.

We had a custom picture of all of her grandchildren it was 5ft long and 10 inches wide. She loved it. But I think of the best gift I got my grandmother was a wedding ring. My grandfather gave me some money to get her Christmas gift and I added mine to it to get her ring. when they got married they could not afford a ring and my grandfather never thought about getting her one. When she opened it she made him get up and put it on her finger. I still get teary eyes remembering that day.
