Big Sunday Dinner
« on: October 07, 2012, 12:41:34 pm »
Do you make BIG SUNDAY DINNERS WITH A NICE HOME MADE DESERT (every Sunday) or do you only make BIG DINNERS ON HOLIDAYS.
I make a big Sunday dinner every Sunday, with dessert. Today I'll make BBQ baked chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, corn bread and a yellow cake with chocolate icing. I love cooking and baking.

That is so funny for real, because I just put some BBQ'd chicken in the oven and thought while it is baking I would sit and see what is here to post on. That is great.  I am doing mac n cheese, peas n carrots and a white cake with fluffy white icing.  Hmmmm....maybe our families should meet up...just kiddin.  HAVE A GREAT FC DAY AND ENJOY YOUR CHICKEN.

I really enjoy cooking and baking too, but I hate the mess that comes with it. I still do the nice Sunday dinner though, but for tonight its chocolate cookies for dessert. Tomoro is my anniversery and the day after tomoro is my birthday so lots to celebrate. Making my own birthday cake this year thought. :( Too bad moms not here. Dad got deployed to Germany. They might be comming back soon though. :) Praying they will. :)

its just me and my fiance, so our sunday dinner
usually isn't that much bigger than our every day
dinners  :P  ...the only difference is that i usually
make a good breakfast, or i'll make something
sweet like brownies/cookies at some point during
the day.

For the last few weeks, I've just ordered out because I didn't feel like cooking. I do miss my mom's Sunday dinners when I was living at home. When I was younger, Sunday was fried chicken day.

I work every other weekend now so I can't say I make a nice Sunday dinner EVERY Sunday anymore.

My favorite Sunday dinner is Roast, Mashed Potatoes, and Baked Beans.  Dessert is not always on the menu.

I only make big dinners on holidays. Don't enjoy cooking like I used to. Having kids and having to cook all the time took the fun out it.
