I never look at my reply post either.  If there is something specific then yes but otherwise I don't everyone has there opinion. Some just don't care weither they are rude or not.  Some have no clue and some do.  Don't take it to heart and keep praising
God for all He has and will do.  Count your Blessing and you will forget the idiots.  Take care and don't be afraid to give your opinion !

The type of attitude you envince can be considered rude.  Under your badly-written opinion, you must not care whether you're rude or not.

Some have no clue and some do.  Don't take it to heart and keep praising

There is no verifiable evidence that a semi-literate and faith-blinded "idiot" demonstrates having a "clue", (quite the opposite, in fact).

don't worry about these idiots...they are just frustrated about their own shortcomings...remember--when you point a finger at someone else, there are 3 pointing back at you..

We used that quote, or something like that, at my house growing up: "when you point a finger at someone else, there are 3 pointing back at you"

I try not to pay attention to people who behave like what you were describing in the first post. It's not always easy, but it's not worth letting them control how you feel either.

The "irony" there is that those talking about pointing fingers are pointing the fingers of their own biases and prejudices while being blind to that behaviour.  My theory is that blind religious faith induces other blindnesses which reason illuminates.

It has been close to 30 years since I read the bible, but doesn't it say something in there about being persecuted for your beliefs?   Something about being blessed for being persecuted?    If the worst you have to deal with is random coments from a  stranger on a survey site, I'd say you are ahead of the curve.

Especially since people are being killed for their beliefs abroad. Anyway, I don't think it matters who belongs to which religion. I think we're all grown up enough to get along. Remember, it's not worth getting upset by a troll on FC or any other website you come across on the internet. I can't think of what good it will do you.

True, that's why I don't "get upset" when xtians troll FC with religious propaganda.  Instead, I counter it with rational challenges and logical reasoning because that's like "kryptonite" to them and may assist in others not going mind-blind from superstitious "faith."

How is name-calling (xtians, semi-literate, faith-blinded, among other names) and insisting on spouting off Marx's "religion is the opium of the people" theories, countering with "rational challenges and logical reasoning?"
I use reason to put the facts together that prove that God exists. It would take too long to write it all out for you, but my faith is based on fact and reason, not superstition. Why should people have to provide "evidence" for every sentence they type? Just because you insist that they have no proof doesn't mean that they really don't.
By the way, you pretend to be unbiased and counter only with rational thinking, but your biased hatred of religion shows plainly. For example, you don't believe in God or Christ, but why do you insist on writing "g-d", or "xtians?" I don't believe in Buddha, but I certainly don't mind typing "Buddha" or "Buddhist." I'm not an atheist, but you don't see me writing "a-ist when I mention them."

To the original poster, you should have known that this thread was an open invitation to attack. It is the same way with the daily bible verse threads, and other threads that mention religion. So if you don't like it, don't give falcon and others the opportunity to get their thirty posts in a couple of minutes!

Please put the facts together as I openly and respectfully challenge your claims here.

That would depend on the situation, but when everyone says they have proof and yet none provide it, there's obviously a gap in your reasoning here.

I think we should post about God.  He gave his son for our sins.  So what if the devil comes in and persecutes us, he died for us.  Our job is to share our blessing.  I fell and broke my neck or should crushed four veribras and I am typing today.  That is a blessing no one can take away. PRAISE TO GOD, HE IS ALIVE!!!

We live in a free country (free for those who have money and can say anything like Charlie Sheen). Saying you are persecuted is an exaggeration though. Persecution means having to practice a religion in secret because you are afraid for your life. Engaging in argumentation-persuasion in an anonymous board is simply not persecution. You can choose to take comments against your religion personally or not. I'm not christian. I like to define myself in more modern terms as being spiritual. I do, however, identify most with the Holy Trinity because I grew up Catholic. I'm not practicing, but I still pray and believe. Most importantly, I love the creator of heaven and earth and respect all religions including atheists (the latter will most certainly pray to God if they are about to be eaten by a tiger).

Am late to the party, but feel compelled to say this:  go ahead and post your faith if that is that you feel moved so to do.  But don't be surprised if said postings are replied to by some who will disagree--sometimes strongly and vehemently.  And to save yourself some grief it might be best not to take a peek and see how many replies are yays and how many are boos.  To me it seems best to post and go on.  In my mind disagreement does not equal persecution.

I could put the facts together, but I have to write an article and put the link on here, as it would be pretty long. It might take me a while to get enough time, as I don't have much computer time, especially since my internet's been acting up lately.
