They aren't even close to being equivalent.  Yours attempts to impose irrational superstitious beliefs, my opposition encourages rational thought.  That makes the positions polar opposites.  If one wants to purchase groceries, one doesn't go to a tire store.  In the same manner, irrational thought processes lead to poor decision-making.

It did look lame when advertised on AMC, (then again, so are the religious zombies).  The parallels are striking, (except that the fictional zombies stay down if they take a double-tap to the noggin).

If a person chooses to believe in God and there is a GOd after all they will see heaven. If there isn't a god and the believer dies he's in the same boat as you..

Look up "Pascals Wager". You're assuming that the god you chose is the right one. There are thousands of gods; who says you picked the right one?

What does it hurt to be spiritual? It causes no harm to anyone. It should be up to the individual how he see's things. Live and let live......................THIS I just found on another site..KUDOS!!

The problem is the religious don't live and let live. They instead fly planes into buildings and bomb clinics and ignore history and science and try to force their beliefs on others. That's the harm. That's the hurt. If you actually just believed in what you believed and just left others alone, there'd be no problem. That's just not the case.

Stop trying to hurl it on to us like we've done something to you. Stop ignoring everytime the religious try to force their beliefs on others and you'll see why we constantly speak up.
