180 days
« on: September 27, 2012, 01:29:48 pm »
This may be a crazy question, but how is the 180 days counted?
Is it from your first credit from the beginning of the month
Or is it from your last cash out date  :confused1:

Each individual offer is on it's own 180 days. Every time you complete an offer and get credited, you have 180 days to cash out that offer or it will expire. Does that make sense?

So each credit has it's own 180 days!...that's what makes is harder to keep a count on your days. I would like to set a limit on how much I make before I cash out but I get so worried that I might miss my day I usually cash out as soon as I hit $25/27

Hmmm.... I see that you have been on here for about 8 months and have earned just over $100 so I don't think you need to worry about the 180 day expiration .... it is more for those who barely make the $25 in six months. If you are nervous, just scroll down on your account page to the first entry that doesn't say 'cashed out' to tell if that is more than 6 months old ....

I swear...I hate the 180 day expiration!  Thats the only flaw with this program!  Whoever came up with this rule I would love to take them out to the woodshed and show them just what a young man can do.

You're 'threatening' FC, for an accounting rule?  A young or old man or woman doesn't have to participate on this site, nor does FC have to permit them to.

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

It's not really that hard. If you are participating on here on a regular basis and are cashing out at least every 5 months, you have nothing to worry about. And if your concerned that some of yours may be ready to expire, do what Maverick said, scroll all the way down to the bottom of your account page and check the date. When an offer is going to expire within 30 days, there will be a countdown in red next to the offer.

I really don't see the big deal with it. You have to make less than 14 cents a day in order to cash out in 180 days. So in reality all you would have to do is the 15 cents paid to click every day and you would be able to cash out before anything expires. They probably have the expiration so there is not a bunch of unused accounts sitting around with money in them. Just saves them some money. If people are participating regularly on here, it would be hard to stay under $25 in 180 days.

The 180 expiring credit is counted by offer completion date. If you completed an offer exactly 6 months ago today and another one just let's say 5 days ago, then the one that was completed 6 months ago (180 days ago) would be expired and you'd lose however many cents or dollars it was worth. You'd be able to keep the credit from offers that you did before that day (179 days ago and less). Hope that wasn't too confusing! Hope this cleared up your question!

Thanks for clearing this up. I also wondered when the 180 day period started, but now it makes sense.

I would think it's on the last cashout date, seen that you'll have a completely different set of earnings then,
