I pray for the people with destructive addictions.  :angel12:

Even if they're addicted to "prayer"?

im not a religious person but what is ur problem with pray and religion.....its just a big part of some peoples lives and sometimes all they got. no offense falcon9 but u got to get over yourself and find a new cause to protest because it getting old.
Like you said, with some, prayer is all they have, especially when in a tough situation, or alone, and it comforts them.  They are hurting no one.  Thank you for saying that.

im not a religious person but what is ur problem with pray and religion[?]...

The inquisitions, crusades, witch hunts, Ku Klux Klan, Jonestown, Moonies, catholic priesthood pedaphiles and 9/11 should be enough to cause most people to question "religions" and the "prayer", (magical intercessory rituals), that go along with them.  If not, what more do they need?

Offense taken; I don't need your specious advise and reject it entirely.  If all some religious ahderents have is empty faith, that's regretable but, it's not a reason to cease opposing blind faith.

So what your saying is if i pray to god and go to church im a Klan member that molests children and is responsible for a mass suicide who master minded 9/11. Well what about all the people that murder and molest and cause chaos and hate that don't pray or are not religious? It doesn't make any sense. We just might well give up on humanity. I'd hate to back it to you but faith and religion will be here till the end of time, and im surprised your offended for someone that likes to dish it out...You sure cant take it...........

No, you asked what the problem was with religion and praying and I answered the question.  Your over-generalization is specious and ignorant.  Though the same religious beliefs underlie the inquisitions, crusades, witch hunts, KKK, the Jonestown suicides and catholic pedaphiles of course not all religious adherents partake of these atrocities.  The point is, they share teh same basic religious beliefs and those are what I oppose.

Well what about all the people that murder and molest and cause chaos and hate that don't pray or are not religious? It doesn't make any sense.

That's because you're drawing a false conclusion from an invalid parallel.  There's a difference between what people do and their religious beliefs.  There's no difference between the religious beliefs of those directly responsible for atrocities and those who believe in the same superstitions but, haven't yet commited atrocities.

We just might well give up on humanity. I'd hate to back it to you but faith and religion will be here till the end of time, and im surprised your offended for someone that likes to dish it out...You sure cant take it...........

On the contrary, many former supertitious beliefs are no longer influencing humanity, (such as 'thunder g-ds', volcano g-ddesses, harvest 'g-ds' requiring human sacrifices, etc.).  Eventually, such remaining superstitious ignorance will die out or, they're adherents will.  As for dishing it out and taking it; you haven't really been following either in depth or you'd have seen evidence to the contrary extending over a year's worth of posts.

I find it hard to believe sometimes that so-called xtians still put their faith in man-made governments.

Eccl 8: reads...Man has dominated himself to his own injury.

When you say the "Lords prayer"is there a part in it that says "Let your kingdom come on earth as in heaven"?What do you suppose that means? It means that kingdom is the same as government.

Its pretty obvious the only peace and security this earth will have is when the Creator has done away with this man-made satanic system and HIS rule starts. And also remember Gods kingdom thru Jesus is the only way to fix growing and dying as well.

It's "pretty obvious" that the fundamentalist rantings of religious fantics have no bearing on reality.

“Faith: Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel.”
-– Ambrose Bierce

this man-made satanic system ...

... is commonly-known as the "jw" belief system, a "man-made" religion?

There is no evidentiary basis for such a religious superstition, which is what makes it a religious superstition.

The world is passing away and so is its desire,But he who does the will of God remains forever.
