Do small kittens usually sit on your shoulders?

I've had many kittens and they all seem to love sitting on my shoulder.  Some of it has to do with being high up.  Feels safer to them.

Yes, some small kittens will sit on your shoulders.
One of mine as a kitten used to sit on my dad's shoulder and I have a friend
who has one that likes to sit on his shoulder as well.

They all have different personalities .. I usually get 2 from the same litter and
their personalities are usually totally different.

When my cat was a few weeks old, she sat on my shoulders, lap, & slept on my chest at night.

We got a 2 month old kitten this evening, and he seems to want to be perched on my shoulder like a bird. I don't think I have ever seen this. He finally settled in the recliner so I can use the computer now. lol.

So cute! My cat still likes to sit on my shoulder, lol. I scoop her up when I get home and she just hangs out draped over my shoulder purring her face off (she can't exactly perch there anymore like she once could). I think they like to be up high, and when it's just a tiny kitten it's the perfect fit for them up there

I think some kittens like to sit on your shoulder.  When I got mine from the animal shelter, she was so tiny.  I think she thought I was her mother.  She would climb up to my neck and suck on my neck.

Of the three kittens I spent a considerable amount of time around, all three loved to be anywhere and everywhere they possibly could. I remember one of them being particularly fond of perching on my shoulders and even taking naps on my shoulder. I was sitting on the sofa one evening, leaning back against the corner where the back and arm meet so I was sort of laying while sitting, and the little guy climbed up my pant leg, strolled across my lap up to my chest, curled up and went to sleep. It was so darn cute, he even stretched out & turned onto his back all sprawled out on my chest. Kittens are so silly!

I remember when I had a small black kitty that would settle in with it's nails on top of my head in bed every night.  Thought I was her momma.  Thank God it was just a stage she was going through... it was painful!

None of our cats have done this but I sure enjoyed reading about the ones who do.  There was one cat at the shelter where we volunteer who jumped up on my husband's shoulder but he got adopted right after so not sure if he would have continued.

Cats are untrainable and do whatever they please. They perch anywhere they take a notion .

Yes kitten like sitting on shoulder I have a kitten and she started sitting on my shoulders when she first strarted climbing and she still does it and she was born at the end of march begining of April.  Now her sibling dont do that my parents took two of her siblings and she is totally different then they were she wouldn't play with them so we kept her.

i have heard that a lot.. mine used to sleep on top of my head. lol
