I would think everyone would love to have their groceries delivered.  The shopping is bad enough, then you have to come home, unload the car and put groceries away.  Yeh!  It would be nice.

They do offer that service, but I haven't tried it. I guess it would be good to avoid impulse buying. I always manage to grocery shop when I a hungry and buy more than I need to. Last week I spent 190 on food and that was for just myself. Thank God, I manage not to become overweight and wear a size 2.

I order what food I can through Amazon and Dollar General websites to get it delivered for less.  I would definitely order groceries, if I was still able to get the sale prices.

You would miss out on unadvertised specials and markdowns with home delivery.   I live less than 5 minutes from a grocery store so would not save enough money on gas to compensate for the savings on clearance items.  However, you also would not be making unplanned purchases so could be an advantage there.  Would definitely take some planning.

It would just be another waste if money so I would continue to go to the store myself.

I know it is wierd, but I do enjoy grocery shopping.   I do secret shopping so a big part of my groceries are free, so that is probably partly why.  I have had groceries delivered every once in a while, when I have just to much going on.  I also have called ahead and just had to drive up to pick up the groceries that were already bagged and ready to go. If you buy over a certain amount they will carry the groceries right into you kitchen, and it is free.  So I have started trying to get cleaning and paper goods about every 10 or 12 weeks so they bring it in for me, it is a stress  and back reliever.  The only drawback is you have to have enough room to store it all.
