Do you remember your favorite toys as a kid?

My Barbie dolls were a big favorite, but I saw a little purple martian girl in a little space capsule with wheels that you pushed around. I wanted it so bad and my dad bought it for me. I loved that toy so much that I took it everywhere with me.

My favorite toy was tinker toys.  I loved them.  Oh but then again I liked paper dolls too.

My favorite toy when I was younger was the stuffed animals that used to come with babies  and you could keep them inside the large stuff animal. I can't remember for the life of me what they were called but I used to love them. I had the dog, the cat and a bear And they always had a different number of babies inside so it was always a surprise - does anyone remember those? They were too cute

One of my favorite memories was getting the train out every Christmas.
It was a special treat which we only got to play with one month a year.

my brother had a car race track that only got set up a few times a year.  it was fun to watch

Oh the sweet memories this thread is bringing back to me.  The ultimate was my child size metal stove I got at Christmas when I was just a few years old - under 5.  I still get a little butterfly feeling in my chest remembering even now.  Precious memory.  I loved my spirograph set - I don't think those are around anymore.   Would love to get for my great nieces and nephews if they make them.  Oh there was a riding toy sort of like a big wheel and a sit and spin combined - what was it called?  It had the two big wheels on each side that had a handle on them and you could spin them in the same direction or opposite to spin etc.   I loved that!!!  The barn floor was the flattest place to ride it on the farm.  LOL  Oh the memories!

I can remember different favorites I had at different times...it helps I was the baby so I got all the hand me down toys and my big brothers and sisters bought me the latest an greatest for gifts...yeah spoiled kid I know.  I liked my brothers race track...it was so cheesy...2 cars racing..pull the trigger and one of the cars would 9 out of 10 times fly off the track.  Than there was the rubix cube thing that was shaped like cylander...I think my Mom still has that somewhere.  My bat, softball, grips and even tumbling shoes were always in tow with me too.  Went through that cabage patch kid stage..had the koosa and garbage pail kid cards...Brings back memories.
