I'm 25 and I prefer to date older women because women around my age seems to be all about going to bars and 420 friendly. It also seems like the world is just fine with younger women dating older men but, they think its wrong for a older woman and younger man to be together. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as the younger person is a legal age of course.

Most young men have their own interests in mind like life with their buddies, out partying or any sports or other activities. As men age they move away from that lifestyle and direct their attention to a commited relationship.

Age is just a number!!! I think when you find someone that really connects with you, age can be an issue, but if you truly connect with someone, age just shouldn't matter. You might not ever find another like that in your lifetime! Go with it!

I agree that age is just a number in relationships, but when I wake up with all the usual and new aches and pains every morning, then age is definitely more than just a number!!!!

I know what you mean. I'm 57 and some days I feel more like 97.

From my view point some woman like older men because they are usually ready to settle down and men our own age seem to want to start family later in life,But that is not all cases I am 3 years older than my husband, but my mother ane her husband are 8 years apart (mom being the oldest, same goes for him his wife in 8years younger.

My guess is that respect for others is less about age and more about good parental training.

Older men in "general" are more mature than their younger male counter parts. More mature emotional, psychology, and hopefully financially. Women tend to have more respect for these men, and they usually know how to treat a woman better.

its more about the person and not their age. men will be men. if they like to cheat then that's what they will do regardless of their age. Its all about finding that one that is the best fit for you. If he happens to be 20 years older than you then so be it.

I don't know now that I am in my 50's everybody looks so old. Seems if I dated someone in their 60's it would make me feel even older. When I was younger I liked older men just because they seemed a bit more mature.

Depends on the situation, really.  You've got some women who have father issues who date older men, and then you've just mature women who are looking for something more serious so they go with someone older and mature.
