My faith has carried me thorugh many tough situations in my life.  It has allowed me to go through these situations with a calm and "a peace that surpasseth all understanding".  With the srength that my faith has given me over the years. I have been able to learn and grow through the bad times, forgive others, not lose my trust in and love of people and of God.

Faith is designed to get you through hard times. Regardless of your faith, the idea that there is more out there for you to eventually get to makes it easier to get through the tough times are get there.  :peace:

I never knew what faith was until i really started reading my bible on a daily basis, but after almost dieing in 2004 of a brain hemmorhage and going into a coma for 4 days and the doctors said i would not make it, but my family faith in healing and God is what brought me back among the living and their prayers, so every since my faith has increased more and more and without my faith i have no hope in anything, I love Joyce Meyers i can relate to her life because mine has been similiar to hers, only i was molested at 10 by my older brother and raped at gun point at 16 while on a date, But now i am a true follower of Jesus Christ now and my past only make me more stronger and wiser, it does not no longer determine my decisions in life now. :female:

God gives us the faith to keep going everyday.  But some people believes some others do not.  For me faith is what keeps me moving forward, the faith that there is something for me out there, God has a plan for all of us and faith is strong.

"Faith" is belief without evidence.  It is a false hope consisting of false attributions and as such, is self-delusional and blind.

It would be nice to have some faith right now that eventually my computer will work, but it is not cooporating with me and I am struggling and then my husband will be home and will turn up the tv and have fifty million problems with his school work and computer and I just want to pull my hair out.

That's not "faith"; it's having an expectation which may or, may not be reasonable - as opposed to religious faith, which is always unreasonable.

Faith is the belief in things not seen. We cannot be with God if we don't have faith in Him. We cannot go on to be with god if we don't believe in Him, How can we go to a place we don't believe in.

No, "faith" is belief in that for which there is no evidence.  It is believing something, despite the lack of proof, (which is irrational).  Faith is therefore an irrational belief and when applied to religion it becomes an irrational religious belief.  The circularity of 'not being able to "be with" something for which there is no evidence unless belief without evidence is embraced' is an inherently unreasoned and irrational.  Faith is a condition of blindness wherein its adherents claim to *see* which therefore makes it self-delusional.

I understand that there are those who deny the existence of God. I understand that there are those who refuse to accept the concept of faith. We live in a world where each one of our experiences are different and because of the positions we hold during the course of our lives we come to different conclusions. No one, I repeat no one, will change what I know to be true. GOD EXISTS!!! That is the position I hold and my life experiences and my very existence is my evidence. Faith is trusting in things that have no evidence. This concept is difficult for those who refuse to see what is before their very eyes. Anyone can rant and rave and shake their fist and scream into the darkness and say there is no GOD. I wonder what people who feel that way would find if they opened themselves to the possibility that it may be true. I wonder if they have the guts to ask GOD, HIMSELF to reveal the truth to them in a way that only they would know came from HIM. Some people act like they have the guts to do it but do they really? I DARE YOU, TO ASK HIM IF HE EXISTS! I DARE YOU TO ASK HIM TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO YOU! There is nothing that has ever been created, discovered, made, given birth or life that was not a concept before it became manifest. That's what faith is, it is the acceptance that whatever the concept(dream) is will manifest for the good of ourselves and for all. Faith is the vehicle of our hopes and dreams. All you that hope and have faith, hold fast to your dreams and hold to GOD and don't let anyone take your dreams or your faith from you.  BEWARE! Don't be bullied by people who are filled with rage and hatred. Don't be trampled on by people who are faithless. They are without faith so they want everyone else to feel that way too. They have to be pretty miserable to go through life like that. Pray for them to find the peace they so desperately need. God Bless you all!  :angel11:
