Diet Coke Vs Coke Zero

For those who are diet coke drinks have you ever had that panic OMG I've run out of Diet coke experience! So, you race to the convent store nearby in the dead of night only to find that they've run out of diet coke & no place else is open! So you're force to buy something like Coke Zero. It's either that or buy pepsi. Pepsi Gross!  :BangHead:

I'm Thinking it'd probably taste the same as diet coke since it has no suger....Wrong!!!! It taste like diet coke for a second then you taste that cherry coke sugary after taste! Well, it's better than  the pepsi posion!

FC members which do you like diet or coke zero. Do you taste a difference? If you don't like either brands then put down what you like to drink. I really want to know everyone's drink taste s'.

Coke Zero!  I think diet coke has too much of a "diet" taste!

I do have to say that I sort of agree with you. I love diet Coke. I have had Coke zero and it does not taste exactly the same. I think thats because Coke zero is supposed to taste closer to the real regular Coke. The reason is this, Coke Zero uses Splenda and Diet Coke uses equal.

Personally, I don't drink diet sodas if it is my choice, but I don't mind drinking them if it is the only thing available or somebody bought one for me. Furthermore, If I feel like having a soda, I try to go for the "made with real sugar ones", limited editions or otherwise. I understand people who do it for healthy reason, like diabetes and such. What I can't really understand for the life of me, is how in God's green earth would anybody who is relatively healthy, wake up in the middle of the night and panic about "having run out of soda" and would venture out in search for it. It all just seems odd to me. If I wake up in the middle of the night, and find out I have run out of "anything", unless it's understandable like for pregnancy cravings, or a matter of life and death, like running out of a specific medicine for an ill child, there is not way I'd go out for the specific purpose of getting that trivial "anything", because of a craving. I know there are many people who does that, because if there weren't, there would be no 24/7 convenience stores; it just boggles my mind that's all.

I really enjoy Diet Coke.  I don't think I've tried Coke Zero, but I think I will after reading these posts just to try it.

I don't remember drinking Coke Zero. I usually buy off-brand products to save money.

No soft drink is good for you even if it is diet but Coke Zero is really the only carbonated beverage I drink now.  Also the Coke Zero Cherry is pretty good to.

I've had both and don't like either one.  Regular Coke has always been my favorite soda.

I don't like either Diet Coke or Coke Zero.  We don't drink much pop in our household to begin with..water water and more water.  When we do drink soda 9 out of 10 times it's Coke or Dr. Pepper.  Occasionally I'l pick Pepsi up but that's only if my mother-in-law is coming over.

 In my opinion they both pretty much tast the same/they both have no sugar but i supose every one has there own tast buds
