I'm very interested and concerned for the future of our country. We need to get some fiscal responsibility back into our government or we'll face what's already happening in Europe. If Obama was truly concerned about the countries financial situation and fixing what he inherited, he would have used the first 2 years while his party had control of both houses of congress to institute changes to encourage job growth, esp. in the private sector. Instead he and Congress used their muscle during that time to put in place Obama Care which will end up costing higher premiums and / or deductibles, and let bureaucrats instead of doctors decide what treatments people can have and when they are allowed to have those procedures. That's simple economics, folks... If you have a finite supply of a resource (ie a finite number of doctors that can do a procedure) but an increased demand (ie allowing everyone -- even non-citizens -- access without restrictions) either the prices will rise (as in higher premiums / deductibles to match inflating medical costs) or some controlling body (like the federal government) needs to set price controls and artificial restrictions / rations on how the product gets distributed. It's too bad that the 70's oil crisis was so long ago that most young voters don't remember (or were not around to know about) how government intervention in the private sector usually hurts much more than it helps. When we have China questioning our financial situation, the dollar being downgraded, and several European counties bearing evidence of what run-away government spending will result in, that should have been the first priority of this president.

I'm very interested in this election. I just wish there was a "None of the Above" button when I vote.

To tell you the truth they both scare me. I don't think either one of them will be good for this country.

I don't think either are qualified to run this country either, but I'd like to see the one in office out for sure. He made a mess of everything. Every vote counts.

I think everyone should  be interested in this election even if it is knowing you will only have the option of voting for the candidate who will do the least amount of damage to the country you live in.

How can any American not have any interest in an election which will obviously have a big impact on your life ad the lives of your children.  The importance is so obvious whether you are politically inclined or not.

I'm interested in this election, but as usual I see that many here are trying to blame Obama for what Bush did. It was Bush that messed up our economy. President Obama can't fix what Bush messed up in only 4 years. It's almost evident that it isn't about what is right for our country its about the fact that America wasn't ready for  black man to be president. Our country has birthed hatred into its people. I wish that we could learn to look past the color of a persons skin, and focus on character. President Obama is concerned about all Americans. Romney is only concerned about people who are making six figures. Whites and Blacks together depend on student loans, medicaid, and foodstamps. Our country will suffer badly if Romney is elected and he terminates all of the programs that are dedicated to helping low income families. Our job market needs to be repaired first, and then you look at reducing Government funding. If the rich get richer...what happens to the middle class. The middle class consists of many different types of people. We are talking about no social security, no section 8, no housing programs. Not everybody is looking for a handout, but even the working class are in need of help.

As patriotic Americans we should be interested in the election. However, we need to really have an election. I think the candidates we have to choose from are all on the same team.
