Do you wear fake hair?

There is nothing wrong with wearing weave, wigs, extension, braids etc...For me it is convenient. I choose to wear both, especially when I am having a bad hair day. For five years straight I worn wigs until my hair grew back for the short hair cute I wore. Now my hair is healthy and back to its original length but the wigs kept me presentable in times of hair sanity. I also appreciate them because it lets me sleep an extra hour in the morning, which is the time spent combing my hair. All walks of life wear them.....my first time seeing a Caucasian person with one I was shock and aww, she said to me she wears her ponytail because she did not like the short style she got and until it grows back she will continue to wear it.  I never in as million years thought they worn weave. I made an assumption like most others and I was wrong. So now I do not assume anything, because I know for a that every women and some men wear it..... topee

Although my hair is medium long it used to be long before the cut, yes I wear a fake ponytail every once in a while.

lots of people think i wear extentions because of how long my hair is but its all natural  lol

i do wear some at times tho when i want to add highlights/a different color into my hair, either red or blonde....it comes out looking pretty nice

I have a clip-on piece that I wore to my son's wedding.  I really don't understand the fake hair craze.  And I really don't understand why some people are very happy to announce they are African American but do everything they can to look like a Caucasian with blonde hair, etc.  That just boggles my mind.  And another thing is the hair product commercials, like they expect the gullible public to believe that hair products caused the hair to look great when it's fake hair. Unbelievable.

Amen Totally agree. I don't understand that kind that kind of thinking either. They should PROUD of being African American. They should be proud of who they are.

Well some people choose to wear different colors because they may want to change they look not because they want to like a Caucasian, Blonde hair is not just for certain people its for anyone who chooses to wear it. It is also not about them being not proud of who they are. The color of ones hair does not belong to one nationality of person. Just like when Caucasian women try so hard to be tan or brown they go over board with the tanning machines and some become addicted now that's a shame. Any way's I wear it sometimes and when I was younger yeah I did dye my hair honey blonde I think was the color and I loved the way that color would blend with my brown skin color. Plus I don't consider myself African American I'm Black.

LOL......Fake hair?? I believe you do mean to say a wig, or hair clip extensions?? No one really says Fake hair, not that I know of. What kind of lady or woman would say, "Hey, I am wearing some Fake hair, what to feel?" Haha!!

Anyways, I wear some wigs that I own from time to time. I spent tons of money and years coloring my hair since high school. I am now 32 years old. Last year, I cut my natural hair very short so I could regrow my hair back to its natural color and state. It is now growing back stronger than it was in the past. In the meantime, whenever I feel like  because I miss my long blonde hair, I will put on a long blonde wig, but it is made from human hair, so I don't think that "qualifies" as fake hair! lol...

i have long thick hair..i can style it many ways so i have no need for wigs or hair attachements

no but i do color it, needs it now. my hubby does it for me he cuts it too. saves a ton of money and he does a great job. i have never tried a wig not sure i want to worry about it falling off have enough problems that way with the real hair.

I wear fake hair and I love my hair. Some people don't like fake hair but sometimes it makes you feel like a different women. What do you think?

i have both, and i also love my fake hair, its nice and a nice change
