Big news in this awful economy. I just go home from a babysitting interview and it seemed to go really well. I engaged the kids while listening to their mother. She kept saying that I seem genuinely nice and she's very interested if my references check out. I'll have to get those together. Though my most recent employer isn't answering her telephone so I can give her a heads-up. Grr! Plus, this woman is looking for someone to take the children out on the town; museums, swimming, the park. I'm really looking forward to that aspect. It's getting way too nice out to sit in the house all day!!
It's been a big week in general. Bob Evans called me in for an interview earlier ths week. And a second interview the same day. They haven't called me back, though, so I don't know . . . I thought it went well and they promised I'd get a call with a yes or a no. I don't know which job I would take if by some economic miracle I got hired at both places. I love babysitting but restaurant experience is much more transferable and the hours are more reliable.
What's everyone else doing - besides fusion - during these tough times?
