Needs some clarification on cashing out
« on: September 02, 2012, 06:10:05 pm »
I am getting close to being able to cash out for my first time so I want to make sure I understand how it works before I do it.

The first thing is the requirement to cash out are that you must have at least 25 dollars and that 15 of the 25 must come from offers. How do I know what part of the money I have made comes from offers? Is the amount on my banner just what I have made from offers or is that my total amount I have made?

So once I have met the requirements to cash out I know I can go to my account page, scroll down and click the cash out button. Does anyone have a preference on how they get paid? I'm assuming the most common is by check and I also think that I read you get a bonus for posting a picture of your check which is prob. why most people choose this option. This is what I was going to use but has anyone cashed out using direct deposit or paypal and can tell me what they think is the best option to get paid.

How do you go about getting the $1 bonus, do you just post a picture of your check, is there any information you should cross out? How long does it take to get the bonus?

Finally, if I am understanding this right, payments are approved on the 20th of every month which means when I cash out I won't get my check until the 20th of October, correct?

If this is the case, does anyone have any suggestions about when I should cash out? By this I mean should I just go ahead and do it as soon as I reach 25 or would it be smarter to wait until a few days before the 20th and cash out then since no matter what date I cash out as long as it's before the 20th of September I will still receive it on the 20th of October.

Thanks for the help, so far FC has seemed to be a easy way to make cash and everyone on the site is so helpful.

You can see on the account balance where your money came from.

I am kind of wary passing out my bank account info so will probably do it through Paypal.

You get money for posting your check pic on the appropriate thread.

Cash out as soon as you hit $25.  No reason to wait.

It is easy to see how much of your earnings come from offers. Just go to your account page and scroll down about half way. There will be a box that says what your account balance is. Underneath that will be parentheses that say how much are offers and how much are bonuses. Also when you cashout you can use which ever payment you want. You can choose a check, direct deposit, or Paypal. I prefer Paypal because I use as a savings account. I use it for most of my survey earnings.  There are a couple of survey sites that I use that don't use Paypal. If I didn't use Paypal, I would be tempted to spend the money before I intended. If I don't think about it, I can't spend it. There are also plenty of tutorial videos that are very helpful. I hope this helps. Good luck and happy earnings.

Actually, members have until the end of a month, (before midnight, PST, on the last day), to cash out if they want to receive payment for that month by the 20th of the following month.  Cashing out by September 30th means payment on/around October 20th, (depending upon which payment option is selected; check, PayPal or direct deposit).

One reason some choose to wait until the end of a month to cash out is to build their balance.  One can receive the same $1 payment bonus for cashing out anytime $25+ is reached within a month, (based on one bonus per cash out, one cash out per/month limits).

Is this $1 cashout bonus automatic or do you have to apply for it?

You post a screenshot of your payment in the Re: ONGOING: Post a screenshot of your payment or picture of your check - Get $1! thread to receive that bonus.

I use Paypal for my cashouts (I've had 17). I got a paypal debit card that is tied to my paypal so when I get money, I can use the card to make purchases or withdraw from an ATM (there is a $1 fee from Paypal to do an ATM withdrawal)

I guess the only downfall of using paypal is the you can't get the $1.00. Do you get your money faster if you use paypal vs. a check?

To confirm what falcon9 says:  Yes, you can get the $1.00 bonus for posting a screenshot of your PayPal payment -
That's the payment method I use, and I have posted a screenshot of each payment I received, and received the $1.00 bonus every time!

Do you get your money faster if you use paypal vs. a check?

Yes, you DO receive your payment faster by using PayPal, I believe you receive it a couple/few days earlier.

How come it won't play?

This is true - paypal is even faster than direct deposit by at least a day and sometimes two!  Paypal is the number 1 way to go, if you have that option!  If you search the posts - you may be able to see other paypal postings for this bonus...

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a check? If you cashed out on the 30th of last month.
