How many of y'all out there read the Debate & Discuss section religiously (PUN INTENDED!), just to see what Falconer02 & falcon9 are going to post/reply to?

Thanks, "blue".  Like the sign in the men's room reads, "We Aim To Please - You Aim too, Please."
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

You don't have to stop though; you could keep moving and thinking, for instance ...

Falconer02 doesn't agree with me about the moon hoax, falcon9 said something that hurt someone's feelings once.

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing about the moon hoax........

and yes falcon9 did say something hurtful to someone, and caused hurt feelings that one time.........but I'm sure he's still wishing he could take it back, or make it up to the person somehow...

and he's been so careful not to do so ever again.  It's really kind of sad to see him being this concerned about this, always worrying if what he says may possibly cause another person to feel bad.

OK I need to get the box of tissues now.....I'm tearing up big time because I feel so sorry for the dear sweet falcon9

Wasn't that the one where the werewolf mooned the werewolves anonymous meeting?  Or, the 'we-didn't-really-go-to-the-moon' theory?

Thanks, (but I'm going to opt-out of wearing a cape & tights ... falconer02 can make his own wardrobe choices).

I am proud to say that I lurk here daily, checking every post with  even the slightest reference to those entities of which it can be said "absence of proof is not proof of absence"-- such as G-d  (or, perhaps (D-g? oh, wait-- they don't seem to be PETA people ).

Falcon9: I greatly admire your erudition, your clarity of expression, and your obvious intellect. It is truly a pleasure to read everything you write, whether I agree or not.  While I find your replies acerbic at times, they are often warranted. It is my hope that both you and Falconer will occasionally post on matters of pure science, such as quantum physics, astronomy or other hard science fields, so that I may converse with you and expand my knowledge. And I love your animated flogging horse  ;D

Falconer: You share all of the qualities of your fellow rational skeptic, and I admire you equally. I also was very touched with your kind reply to me concerning my reasons for self examination in the post on "evidence"-- I felt you genuinely wished me well, and I appreciated it.

As one who is frequently denigrated, insulted and often threatened because I do believe that absence of proof does not constitute proof of absence in ANY subject, it is refreshing not to be the main course in a metaphorical barbeque. I would doff my hat to you both, were I wearing one. I consider you both scholars and gentleman, and valid contributors to the general knowledge base of our FC forum.

By the way-- I'm not flattering you. I reserve flattery for those who are too convinced of their own superiority to recognize truth-- like politicians.
