For Those Who Have Used the FusionCash Mall...
« on: August 20, 2012, 10:23:36 pm »
and have received credit for a purchase, what browser did you use when purchasing?

I ask because I soon will be making a fairly large purchase which should result in a $17.00+ reward.  After years of being on here I have learned that sometimes certain offers just don't work consistently in one browser for whatever reason, but credit perfectly in another, even when clearing cookies/caches regularly.  Yet, unlike videos or daily surveys, which you can watch again or try again the next day, you only get one crack at a purchase to credit.

So, I'm uncertain whether to go ahead using the most recent Firefox or with Internet Explorer 8 (running XP, so can't upgrade to IE9), or even downloading Opera or Chrome if need be.  If this was just a small purchase with a small reward like $0.50, I wouldn't mind just doing a trial by error.  But, with a potential larger amount and having never purchased through the mall before, I'd like to go with the best chance of credit.

Feedback on your experiences is much appreciated. :)

I used Internet Explorer twice to shop the FC Mall and receive credit.

BUT I think it depends a lot on the vendor, not the browser. You may want to share who you plan on purchasing from and getting feedback on them as well.

I am still figuring the mall purchases out.   One thing that I have learned is when I go to a site, such as HSN, at the top of my page the Fusion Cash bar pops up and says how much of cashback I will receive for purchases.  After some of my purchases' getting credit and some not, I make sure I see that green bar from Fusion Cash at the top when I first go to the site before purchasing.  It goes away in short order when I start using.  Wasn't looking for it before so don't know if it was there or not on the ones that I didn't get credit etc.  I had one denied from Sears once - not sure why and didn't even know it was going to give me credit so didn't hurt my feelings.  I love this cashback feature for shopping and I have to admit it does breed a loyalty in me for certain businesses that I may or may not have frequented but have what I need.  Why not use the business that gives me cashback from Fusion Cash!

We haven't had many complaints about the mall not crediting.  Sometimes it takes a little while but it virtually always shows up.
That particular merchant (AllergyBuyersClub) is tracked through the same platform as CheapFlights, so I suggest you use whatever browser you have that works for CheapFlights.  In any case the credit usually appears within a week of the order being shipped, but sometimes it takes a few weeks or a bit longer in rare cases.

Once your order is processed, you should receive payment however some merchants wait until the time you have to return an item has passed to credit you. (You do not receive credit if your purchase is returned) I can't remember if I got an email with credit info or it just went to my account, but it took me about nine days to get credit through a different merchant than you shopped with.

I think I figured out what I do wrong sometimes.  I shop at a couple of the mall retailers regularly.  I love when I get credit!!  But sometimes I don't get credit!I am a big researching shopper.  So I end up with many pages open and at some point I will start closing the internet pages I don't need for what I am doing.  Well, I think I am closing Fusion Cash and so the connection isn't there for the credit of my purchase.  I got a message the other day for the first time that I have to be signed in to Fusion Cash to receive credit!  duhhh  I was just a shopaholic and didn't even pay attention.  Bet I pay attention now!  LOL  I hope this is helpful to someone and hope it is the answer to my problem too!

I use Firefox.  I always log out - delete my cookies - log back in - then do the offer.  Then I let the page "rest" for about 10 minutes before I do any other offers.  Works 99% of the time.  Hope this helps!

The order I didn't think I would get credit for . . .

Mall: HSN - 2455701  2012-09-17   $0.17   Approved

Just a couple weeks after I placed the order  . . .   How cool.  It was just  a $20 order I think for an ironing board cover.   And I earned Fusion CASH!
I really love Fusion Cash.  Too much fun!!
