You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike
Any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive
Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no
Visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth
Growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus
Don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned
Yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to
Publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail..

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America '
Crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style
Country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system
With a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly
Capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose
That lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of
Living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics
Against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from
Challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider
Opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both
Omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything
You do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the
Limbaugh's, Hannitys, O'Reillys and Becks who offer opposing,
Conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will
Probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

I believe that everybody who is voting in the upcoming presidential election should make an informed and educated decision as to who will be running our country for the next four years. Seeing some stupid email from a some 65-yr old fearmongering cold-blooded christian republican who writes exhaggerated bs or just flatout lies in order to get you to sway your decision...and taking that as true information is ignorant AND stupid, and it's a huge reason as to why our country is the way it is today.

This letter was written over three years ago.  While I don't necessarily agree with everything in it, I find much of it truthful and I have no proof that Mr. Pritchett was dishonest with his letter of concern.  I don't like your attempt of ad-hominem because the man is 65 years old, or a christian, or a republican.  Does he not have as much right as anyone else to give his opinion and express his concerns?

Of course there are many that would prefer we focus on the more important matters involved with being President, such as his choice of flavors of foods or how comfortable he finds certain furnishings and seating devices...

It's either he was being dishonest and ignorant with an agenda in mind or he is just being dumb since doing some quick research of these claims can easily show the truths to his fearmongering. Example-

I don't see the fearmongering, necessarily, simply a persons giving their reasons for concern or fear.  I don't see how that is supposed to transfer to others as he could mention a fear of spiders and snakes and that would not make me fear them anymore than I do now.  Granted it could be an attempt to be cleverly written and a form of suggestion upon others -- but I am not weak minded and such things do not take on me (well I suppose there could be some forms that do and that I wouldn't know).  I don't see any religious references in the missive so I don't see the religious take that you seem to -- unless I am mistaken and didn't notice them.  Whether he is 'Orwellian' or not remains to be seen.  I don't think he could be as stupid as he pretends though and thus I suspect he is at least deliberate in some of the damage he causes.

Perhaps you're just reading it differently than I am-- different backgrounds and all. I used to get emails like this every day from my friend's dad who was a genuine fearmongering 'psycho-conservative'. One of the "Obama's a muslim terrorist bent on burning down Amurrika!" types. I eventually just blocked his email from the constant never-ending forwards of emails like this. If the writer of this specific email were to actually discuss examples or specific proofs of what he's saying, it'd given the message merit. However that's not the case.

Though it is written poorly, there is a hint of cleverness in it. The part when he speaks of "demonizing conservative pov's" should be taken into account.

I don't see any religious references in the missive so I don't see the religious take that you seem to -- unless I am mistaken and didn't notice them.

Generally when people use terms like omnipotent and omniscient, 99% of the time they're referring to a god. Unless he was one of those few who does not, I'd wager that's what he meant- "Obama thinks he's a god", which is definitely not the case given his religious background. It's irrationally antagonizing.

There is so much truth to the thoughts expressed in the letter. I got it in an e-mail and I forwarded it to all my contacts.even my liberal ones. Hopefully with them, they might rip off their blinders and come to see the truth.

There's not much "truth" in the inherent political bias which forms the blinders contained in that letter's content.
