Tips to fix Wet ipod touch

my ipod got wet and every time i try to charge it the apple logo shows up like its gonna cut on but then cuts right back off what should i do all advice accepted....

i sorry to tell you this but it might be gone, i got mine wet and it never came back on after doing the same thing, youtube said to place it in a covered bowel of rice but it didnt work for me.

I came pretty close to ruining mine as it was in its pouch, thanfully, and it didn't get wet, but the other things in the carry bag did.  It did freak me out when it didn't come on, but I simply recharged it and it worked after that.

I tried to put it in a bowl of rice but it still didnt work for me either.....

My kid had done this a couple of times (get her phone wet).  Put it in some dry RICE for a day or two, then give it a try.
