and all family/pets made it out alive, what object would you miss the most?

I have this really sweet "scrap book" like binder that has a ton of AWESOME stuff and I use it daily for exercise moves and my recipes, among other things.  I have probably put days of my life into that binder and would be so upset

It depends on how much time i had but would try to grab my albums, my husband might slap me if I tried to grab my computer. but I would grab the laptops. and then bust through a window, ha ha, silly me I probably would be so frightened, I would leave it and jump out the window

I would leave in a hurry. And hope all would be well. But i try to have the things i want to save near a doorway that i want to save. But we never know what goes through our minds at time like that. ( a friend whose house caught fire lost every thing but the 2 cartons of ice cream he carried out because the would melt. He lost everything else. He slept in the raw. ) like i said we never know.

It's one of my biggest fears I have a plan but in a panic and fear you just never know just pray it never happens but if it does that my brain works correctly!

i dont know about my house but i seen a house today that had fire damage and it was almost to the ground and they had 2 cars in the garage and they were burnt to the shell. i was like wow.

I would grab the normal things, pictures or things that family members have made for me and I wouldn't want to lose.  Like Lynn, though, I'd probably not grab anything and get out in a hurry.

No, of course not, an urn is a container for your dead relative.  What he means by "pitcher" is obviously that glass container full of kool-aid that has that goofy smiley face on the front of it.

Keeping one's relatives' ashes in a kool-aid smiley pitcher seems flippant to me.
