Cashing out
« on: April 06, 2009, 09:47:35 am »
I went to cash out for the first time and it says that it is pending. It also says, "IF I get approved..." what does that "IF" mean? anyone?

Some offers still might revoke. If you drop under the minimum cashout you might have to wait to cashout later after you get back up over the minimum. If you were to do something really bad FC could cancel the whole payment but I don't think they are specifically looking for something like that just to avoid having to pay you. I think they just try to give themselves a few days. Even if you cash out and then get one revoked I think they could reduce your balance later.  8)

Basically, an advertiser could decide that they don't like FC anymore and will pull all funds from them. At that point, FC will pull the credit from our accounts as the rule of thumb is "FC gets paid, we get paid". If that were to happen and your account drops below the minimum, the payout could get cancelled. I've not had it happen *crosses fingers*, but I'm also only on my second payout.

As long as you are honest in your offers, I wouldn't worry about that. I've been here a year and only had 50 cents revoked, and they did that as far as I know across that board, it was not just me. It will show approved the day payments are processed.

Yes, the 30 days gives the advertisers time to revoke a payment in case you really did not earn it according to the correct terms of the advertiser.  As long as you did everything right, this would rarely happen, I would imagine.

I don't think there are enough offers to make this a main source of income.  But every little bit is nice.
