I personally believe that having sex should be the choice, that is the only choice after that, abortion...thats not a choice!!  Reading through some of these post shows peoples ignorance, the one about a 4 month old and what it went through, but yet then they state that  "abortion"  isn't killing a human?  Seriously?  IGNORANCE!!  I actually know of 3 people that have had an abortion, makes me sick, but I am still there friend I won't judge them its not my place they will get that in the future.  I think more people should look at it as given a gift not a choice!!

It's not the fact that an abortion is not killing a human, it is. But I would much rather a person get an abortion, then see a child be abused, raped, and killed.

My two cents:

Abortion is legal up to 14 weeks gestation in the U.S. (not 12 weeks) and up to 24 weeks (6 months) in some states.

I think it's the person's choice.

It most definitely is a choice....BUT.... the choice comes BEFORE sexual intercourse, not AFTER.

I was reading the newspaper a few months ago and saw an article on a 4 month old that was killed by her parents. The baby had been raped, thrown against the wall, and thrown into the fan. Now, are you telling me that you preferred this child go through all that rather than just to have been aborted? And that is definitely not the first case I've seen like that.

This is abortion....only difference, the kid is 4 months old after birth as opposed to 4 months old after conception.

I am for abortion all the way. There are to many unwanted people in this world who become criminals and murders. This all could be avoided with a simple abortion. GROW UP!!!!!!! :angry7: :angry7: :angry7: :angry7:

I dont believe in abortions either. I do however believe if it was rape incest, something wrong with the mother or child. Those circumstances I do believe. Otherwise I believe that it is murder. The reason I am against rape or incest because of the turmoil the child will have to grow up with. They are going to feel unwanted alone even if they do have someone that loves them. noone tends to realize or wonder about that. That could be a reason why we have alot of problems with a alot of kids as they grow up. I know I cant blame that on every case or scenario. I do tend to get upset over things with everything that I have faced in my life. I know what it is like to be blind., not able to hear and so on. I take offense when someone calls someone retarded. They are mentally challenged. I took care of people like that. They were like family to me. This crap about racism is for the birds. God created everyone with a purpose. Some find out what it is and some never know.

To quote Gandalf "Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends."

Who are any of us to decide who should be born and who should die?  :angry7:

I am against abortions as well, this includes people who get pregnant out of rape.  There are many couples who love to adopt a child.  My husband and i been tring to have a baby sice we got married and this October will be eleven years and no baby.  I cant adopt because we don't make enough money according to the requerments that thy have set forth. we want to have a baby rely bad.  We r not trying  like before couning day to kow when I am obvilating or not, So what ever happens it happens that is whats what we have to do can' t afford the other options thats out there.  So that is only one reason I don't believe in abortaion, another thing the bible mentions about two men fighting with a pregnant women there and when she lost her baby they were at fault and it said life for a life.

I do not believe in abortions either. If you don't want to get pregent, keep your legs crossed. I see too many young mothers with babies on the streets. (some are called bread winners) because of welfare. But use protection and use protection and make sure you maled partners are using it also. But don't kill a baby.

If it's a woman's choice, as some people say, then she is choosing to accept the consequences that come along with the action. If you are responsible enough to spread your legs, you are responsible enough to deal with a baby. Abortion is murder spelled any way. You created a new life, now deal with it. Killing it off is not the answer. And for those who don't think it is a life, just remember this.....fingerprint patterns start to form at a mere 6 weeks. Thats a little over a month. What the hell do you think that thing attached to your uterus is and has been doing for the other 5 weeks? I certainly don't feel bad for women who have had abortions only later in life try to have a child and realize that they can't because of scarring from the abortion. You had your chance. You decided to kill it. Damn this topic boils my blood!  :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

Politically, this issue baffles me.  It would seem Republicans would be Pro Choice because they want government out of their life.
Democrats would usually be Anti-Choice because typically they result to legislation to police decency.

This means Republicans that are against abortion typically have a religious reason behind it.  I am Very, very much against having religion write our laws, therefore I am pro-choice. Although I do wish women would consider adoption before having an abortion.

Touchy subject, I believe its the right of the woman/man involved to decide.  It all depends on what is going on in their lives at the time.   How the female got pregnant.  Could be rape...  whatever.  So I am all for abortion, if that is what both parties wish for.  I'm not put on this planet to be a judge, that's GODS job.

Is there any evidence to support such a contention, (bearing in mind that "faith/belief" does not constitute evidence)?
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
