I have moved around 10 times in my life, if you don't count college. My neighbors just moved in, her military husband was sent off for 6+ months, when he comes back he'll probably be deployed for a year. I don't envy them. I think we're going to adopt them and help them get their yard set up and other important things.

I have only moved once so far (lucky me) but will be moving within the next few months. Not sure exactly when, but I have a lot of the stuff I will not need for a while all packed up.

I moved twice. The first time was when I moved from my parents to my first apartment with my fiance. The second time was when we moved out of the apartment and into my grandmother's condo. Moving is very stressful, and there were times when I was just about ready to say "SCREW THIS" but obviously that didn't happen. Just try to take it easy and remember you'll get thru it just fine! Good luck!

Pulling for you.  I've moved about 10 times.  It's an ordeal, whether it's across the country, across town or across the street.  I know I'll have to do it again at least one more time; can't say I'm looking forward to it.

If I only count moving back & forth to the dorms during college as 1 "move", then I've moved 8 times.  We moved 3 times in the same city growing up.  Then after my sophomore year in college I first moved out of my parent's house into a sublet with a friend in the same city as my parents (college was in a different city).  Then after my junior year, I moved into a loft with some college friends and stayed there until graduation.  After graduation, I moved into an apartment in the same city and stayed there for 16 years, and last move was to my house (still same college city).

I actually enjoyed moving.  Was a bit fun for me - like a life-sized Tetris game.  I was always lucky to have plenty of friends around to help move which made it easier.  And I always loved volunteering to help others when they needed to move.

I've moved 21 times in my life and I'm not finished yet.  I'm counting only the major moves between states or countries, not moves within any individual city or state, that would add a few more moves to my list.  The international moves are always the most difficult.

I know for one thing that I moved around a lot when I was younger and still living in Idaho. However, if I was to count how many times I moved on my own and not with my family. I would say I only moved once and that was back in August 2009. So, I been living in my apartment for 3 years now. However, I like to move again since there is not much here for me and my job is not that great.

I am about to move for the 12th time next week.  I am hoping that this upcoming move will be my last major one for awhile.

I have moved 16 times across the country, and every time we move I do most of the packing/unpacking. This experience has taught me not to get too attached to most material things, because most of the time we get rid of the bulky items, especially when moving longdistance.

I've moved more times than I care to admit but I'm really excited about moving back to Texas in January.  As long as it's a move up it's worth the stress.  To make the pending move less stressful when the time comes I've already started decluttering my place and gathering packing supplies.  I think it helps to work/plan ahead.

I have moved a TON. Not so much in the last ten years, although I have moved a few times since I got divorced. Moving is the worst - it is so stressful and expensive!
