 :'( I think because of the depression that we are in, with less firemen, and money to put out those fires, we will see even more deaths.

I wouldn't blame the lack of firemen on the depression, I would blame it on the low wages we pay them. 
They put their lives at risk, and we pay petty wages.  Same thing for police officers and teachers.
Not sure if that's how things are where all of ya'll live, but down here in SC, public service people are way underpaid.

I second that opinion tinksaturn...I'm in Tennessee & our public servants aren't treated well either.  Sad, but true.
