The honest answer, that no one really wants to say,is because FC wants to keep you checking in daily instead of taking your business elsewhere. If you don't keep coming back, they keep the money. That's their rules. It's really that simple.I was never crazy about that rule, but it never caused me any problems. :dontknow:
thank you...this is one answer that I can respect, very informative, not rude or sounding sarcastic in the least way. I can appreciate you tone in this...again thank you

On the contrary, "JJ's" resply comes across distinctly as presumptive, cynical and unambiguously "rude" towards FC, (although such things are largely matters of perception).

Thanks for the reminder of the 6 months payout limit. I guess if I had to wait 6 months for a payout I would not be that motivated to do the site anyway, Thanks for the cheapflight reminer I forgot about that.

If so, why not make it a 31 day deadline instead of 180?  Your opinion "sounds like" specious cynicism.  Not to mention that such has been expressed and adressed before.  Didn't bother looking for a previous response to the six month limit?

sounds like they want to keep the money

That's not "honesty"; it's an unsubstantiated opinion because it has no factual basis.

Thank you.

The thing that's funny about this is that they tell you that offers can expire in the TOS.  So, upon signing up, we all should know that things will expire after so long.  It's not like this was sprung on us after joining, we should have known from the beginning.

I have no problem with people asking why this practice is in place.  We all want to know things so it makes sense to ask.  The problem is that the question is generally combined with a "it's so hard to earn" complaint as well.  Yes, if you are looking to make your house payment every month, it is really hard to earn that kind of cash consistently.  But hitting that $25 in 6 months thing isn't that difficult.

You need to earn a minimum of 14 cents a day (25/180 = 0.14) to make the $25 limit.  To be safe though, let's say 150 days so there's some extra time to cashout, which means you need to earn 17 cents a day (25/150 = 0.17).  The daily email and PTC is enough to cash out in about 150 days.  If you do anything else in addition to that, you'll be able to cash out quicker.  And, technically, you only need $15 from offers, so the other $10 dollars could be bonuses.  So you could get 3 forum bonuses and do the PTC and emails and be able to cash out in about 3 months.

So 6 months isn't such a limit unless you don't want to check FC semi daily.

Now consider this, you find 300 referrals that decide to pick up an extra $25 every three months and spread them evenly so 100 cashout each month and you have yourself an extra $500 a month in cashout bonus money alone! I know it's not going to happen right away and most referrals never cashout, but that's my target.

When I first started reading this response I thought it was just someone trying to mock all those pyramid schemes, and then I saw that it was you, oldbuddy, and realized that this is very possible for you.

Keep one thing in mind, I put my pants on one leg at a time just like most people do. If it's possible for me, then anyone who is driven can do it too. It's like eating an elephant, you do it one bite at a time.

the 180 days should really be enough time, and this question comes up a lot and has had answers scattered throughout the forum. There are multiple places to verify the reasons, some even posted by admin. The biggest reason I think if I remember correctly is that it does cost FC money to maintain the information and it eats up storage space in their systems. If those of us who are more serious about cashing out sooner and or are seeking higher payouts for our activities  wish to see that happen, one of the ways to do so is for FC to reduce expenses. After all they need to cover costs or none of us would make anything. I doubt that they would be willing to be so philanthropic as to run the site and incur those expenses for free. If the 180 days does not suit someone then this is probably not the best place for them to attempt to have some fun and earn a little extra money at the same time. There are plenty of other sites that can be investigated. Some perhaps better , some perhaps worse. That is probably a matter of personal opinion and experience. If one is not happy , I don't think anyone has figured out how to hold a gun to your head through a computer to force you to stay. Just food for thought the door to walk away is always available.

I'm not completely certain but it could be to make sure you log on and complete things more often for increased traffic. You'll surely be able to cash-out within 6 months if you just complete the daily stuff. I do!
