postal service
« on: August 03, 2012, 11:34:04 am »
I had to send proof of income out to a company for my 1 medication. I received it back in a plastic envelope apologizing that my letter was not delivered. They could have atleast gave me my .45 cents back because my letter wasnt delivered. All they could say was sorry and it happens sometimes.

Yeah. Its really started to get hard to trust the postal service. I sign up for a lot of freebies and sometimes i receive opened/empty boxes with a stamped message telling me that they received it in that condition. So somewhere down the line a postal worker thought they had a right to open my mail and take the goodies inside.

This is why they are in money problems. They figure they don't have to be responsible for their actions, they will get bailed out anyway. I wish UPS/FEDEX had envelope delivery and we could get rid of USPS. This is why people are using alternate means to pay their bills, Email, automatic withdrawal etc. My deliverer, I believe is illeriate, I think about 1 in 5 pieces go somewhere else, my neighbor, a different street name totally. We are pretty close in my neighborhood and we normally bring it to each other but, it is gettting totally out of hand. I know we have complained 5 times now and the neighbors have complained also but, we still have the same carrier. I don't know what you have to do to get canned at the USPS but, not reading street names is not one of the reasons. I have gotten late notices because I never received a bill. Try to tell your bill collectors when they throw a 5 percent late charge on you that your postal service is hit and miss. See how far that goes!!

We're very  lucky in my neighborhood because we have a great letter carrier but it's a crap shoot when he takes a day off.

One time I received a letter from a friend with a picture in it, but I only received half a letter! Not to mention, half a picture.

I have a problem with them not picking up my mail. They shove the mail in and don't take my out going, then I have to go to the post office. I hate when they do that.
