New Referral Banners
« on: August 02, 2012, 08:56:19 am »
Is it possible to receive updated referral banners? While I think it's great that so many options are offered to us, I think many of the banners/buttons themselves are a direct violation of the referral rules.

In the rules, it states:
•Don't make false or exaggerated claims about FusionCash.
◦For example, you cannot claim "Easily make $15,000/month" or "Instant Payments", since those statements are misleading.

"Make hundreds in hours" is featured on the banners and I consider that a false claim and misleading statement.

This line is included on:
- Three out of four 468x60 banners
- One of two 120x60 buttons
- Two of three 125x125 buttons
- Three of three 234x60 half banners
- One of three 120x600 skyscrapers
- One 768x90 leaderboard

Yes, I can easily use the others that do not say that, but I think it's a valid suggestion for FC to consider.

I hadn't thought of it quite that way but have avoided most banners for just that reason.  Additionally, I think banners have a limited shelf life and should be changed once in awhile.

I like the one that says how many offers we completed and how much we received, which is the one I use all the time.

That's a good point. If we are actively trying to get referrals on our own sites, blogs, etc. it would be good to be able to switch the banners out. People ignore them when it's always the same

I use the banner on my own site and it switches itself out automatically every day when it updates my earnings. If they return and see a higher number each time, what could be better?

Those are just your earrings which is not guaranteed for all members so I still think that is a little misleading, do the banners say anything about that earrings very?

:sad1: I totally agree with this statement because members do not make hundreds in hours...it's more like if you qualify you could make a reasonable amount of money daily.

I don't understand what you mean by not guaranteed for all members.  Toolbar searches, PTC, DCE, Cheapfilights, etc...all guaranteed for all members.   I don't ever remember any demographic qualifications for any of them.

That banner doesn't say anything about a guarantee. It just shows that it can be done. Anyone who believes any guarantee about earning money online is a SUCKER!

Nothing wrong with "Make Hundreds in hours"

I have made hundreds and I have spent hours.

Hmmmmm . . . maybe we should change it to say. "Make THOUSANDS in MINUTES!!!", since I have done that too.

If you check our banners you can see we have both made thousands and spend many minutes doing it.

The bottom line is, any salespersons job is to take the resources available and apply them to make sales. Sure it would be nice if everything was perfect, but if the admins had to respond to every suggestion made to correct little glitches, they would be swamped with unnecessary work instead of using the time available to come up with new ways to earn for us, like CheapFlights. I think what is available is fine and resulted in me getting over 800 referrals so far, so if it ain't broke, why fix it?

It's not misleading to me, because it IS possible to make hundreds on this site in just a few hours. It may take a lot of work, but it IS possible. At any given time, there are hundreds of dollars worth of offers to be completed. So how is that misleading?  :bootyshake:

I didn't mean the status images with our earnings, I was referencing the other banners in the Refer Friends section.
