I read the topic and thought pet names as in like...pet names for your significant other.
Like Baby, Honey, Sweetheart.

I thought about getting a cat names Karma but I think it depends on the pet and their personality.

Mine is Morris the Cat. He looks like the cat from the old 80's commercials, so it just sort of stuck.

My dog's name is Maggie and she loves the name!

I had a huge orange cat also named morris, after the same commercial, lol.

Well-- I have 3 cats-- Fatters, Pixel and Sneakers. Fatters' real name is Holly, but if you call her that, she glares at you and ignores you. My son named her Fatters instead, because when we got the other two she tried to eat all the food and got fat for a while, and the name stuck.

Pixel is named after a cat in Robert Heinlein books-- he is a flame colored tabby with pumpkin eyes, but he doesn't walk through walls like the original-- you just think he does, because he pops up without you noticing. He's BIG-- but not fat.

Sneakers got the name because she is a tiny calico-- at full size she is smaller than a chihuahua-- and since we brought her home, she has always been fascinated with people's sneakers. She sleeps inside my son Ryan's old size 11 wide sneakers he left with me when he went long haul trucking. She goes nuts ovewr sneakers-- sniffs, licks, cuddles-- just sneakers, though. All my cats are weird people with fur 

Very interesting! You said something that totally resonates with me, "all my cats are weird people with fur"... so true of all mine!
