This is a hard topic to say yes or no to.  As a teacher I know that the earth was not created 7000 years ago as the bible teaches so I do not believe specifically in bible but I do however believe there is a higher being and that the time we spend alive is not the end of our existence.  Having lost many loved ones and still feeling their presence in my life I do believe they are with "God" and still with us as well.

God is the one thing I believe in and trust,God is so amazing and nothing in my life means as much as he does to me. God is my best friend, My father, my maker , the truth the light. I think its sad that you feel the need to put others down because they don't share your beliefs. YOU can't see your "god". I can see myself and the potential I have to work towards a better life on my own. I don't blame a deity when things go wrong, nor do I praise one when clearly my own talent and hard work put me in a favorable position. Simple as that. I don't think its sad that you have to rely on fairy tales and superheroes to get through your life, so you shouldn't think its sad that I rely on myself to get me through my life.
