That's a lot going on in your life at this point.  I'm not quite sure about something you said about going to church.  You said you are starting at a new church.  Is this new church the one your ex boyfriend is attending as well?  If you aren't to have contact with him, that seems it would be difficult by going to the same church with him going there, too.

You also mentioned having to "protect his purity" and so the ex isn't allowed to be at the baby's birth - I'm not sure what you mean by the purity comment and why the ex cannot be there.

It sounds like you are trying really hard to stay on a path with God, by studying your scriptures and attending church.  Do you live with someone or know someone who can help you with things you need?  Will your pastor or some ladies in the church meet with you and help you sort through your thoughts, organize your new chapter in life with becoming a mom, and pray with you?  Becoming a new single mom and trying to recuperate from having a baby, and trying to get a job, is hard and it sounds like you are ready to take it on, with God's help.

Congratulations on your baby, and keep us posted about what the baby is when you find out!!  I will pray for you and I really hope things will be positive, helpful, and supportive for you.  {{Hugs}}  :)

The above seems to constitute a degree of naive religious fundamentalism which is harmful to children, (and adults alike). The "protect his purity" part of the faith-blinded beliefs espoused is particularly prejudicial and revealing.  Not sure if this is merely a proselytizing trolling post, (given the subsequent replies), or true mind-blindness.

"Faith: Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel.
Scriptures, n. The sacred books of 'our holy religion', as distinguished from the false and profane writings on which all other faiths are based."

god dosent let his children fall

Incorrect on two counts: A) Just turn on the news and B) Unfortunate events are part of life, not some imaginary sky man's messed up plans. It is up to you if you "fall" or not in a lot of cases.

 Glad to hear you are trying to get close to the maker of all things. One of the biggest and most important things I can help you with is remember that you are only human, Humans are not perfect so realize If you make mistakes, God made you he knows you are not perfect. Also do not put your trust in people, put your trust in God, God has all the answers you need. God wants us to talk to him, ultimately he is our father. He waits for us to talk to him and ask him questions, he will find a way to answer your questions. If you feel uncomfortable at that church it may be a sign to try other churches in your area and find the one you are most comfortable with. Remember Lucifer the devil/ Satan is real also, so this may be the time in your life when he tries his hardest to deceive you!!! Deceit means trickery so please realize he will try to trick you into things, that is where Gods wonderful letter to us, the Bible comes into play the most, know what it says, ask God for understanding and knowledge, God loves you and wants you to be happy and have what you want and need, as people we sometimes put our trust in ourselves or others when we should trust God to be the one to help us through our troubles, sometimes he sends people to give us his answer to our questions. Have you Forgiven your ex for the bad he has done to you? If you feel up to it read through 1 Corinthians this may help some. Also in the new testament when Jesus' disciples ask him why they are not able to pull a demon from someone he answers them that some demons can only be pulled by prayer and fasting. I pray God will answer your questions and help you through the times of need in your life, I send my love, a follower of God the father and Christ Jesus his son, Trust God and he will be your shield and protector in your time of need, this is the only thing on Earth I can promise you.

 Glad to hear you are trying to get close to the maker of all things.

It's unfortunate to hear that you've chosen to believe in a religious superstition rather than your own capabilities.

One of the biggest and most important things I can help you with is remember that you are only human, Humans are not perfect so realize If you make mistakes, God made you he knows you are not perfect.

Non sequitur.  There is no reason to randomly inject "g-d" into an imperfection comment unless the 'believer' is admitting that their hypothetical'creator g-d' 'created' imperfection, (what, "on purpose"?).

Also do not put your trust in people, put your trust in God, God has all the answers you need. God wants us to talk to him, ultimately he is our father.

That string of religious beliefs is pronounced as if it were factual and it isn't because there is no valid evidence to support such specious beliefs.

Remember Lucifer the devil/ Satan is real ...

This is the debate & discuss subforum so naturally, you are here to debate & discuss your unsupported claims, ("faith/belief" are not evidentiary support), right?  So, you have actual attributable evidence to support your claim that "... Lucifer the devil/ Satan is real ...", (the various "bibles" do not constitute factual evidence since they consist of unsupported hearsay themselves)?  Perhaps you are here to merely proselytize and don't have the courage of your convictions?

Falconer 9, if you had an ounce of decency, you and your minions would limit your venomous spewing out of Christian bashing posts to those looking for a debate with you. This thread was obviously started for discussion and out of a need for good, sound Christian advice and not to be pulled into an argument about your nonsense.

To graveyardmaiden... This passage may help you...It helped me

Psalm 23:1-6 ESV

A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I don't understand how us "minions" are spitting venom at you when the only advice being thrown from the freethinkers is "Look around at the world", "You aren't invincible", and "Put faith in your own capabilities". It might not be xtian advice, but it's no doubt good advice to anyone with 1 braincell.

Graveyardmaiden- It's always ideal to hear from different parties as you can apply more rational and positive ideas to your beliefs and understand the world better. That's my only advice to you. And congrats on your baby!

Falconer 9 ...

It's "falcon9".  "Falconeer02" is a different member of FC and neither of us are "minions", (unlike the herd of xtian minions flocking to bolster the blind faith of one another).

if you had an ounce of decency, you and your minions would limit your venomous spewing out of Christian bashing posts to those looking for a debate with you.

I don't constrict my responses to the mindless xtian drivel being endless spewed blindly by religious adherents just because they characterize refutions and challenges of their superstituous nonsense as "venomous", (or, appeal to "decency" in order to censor/silence opposition when xtian proselytizating is, itself, 'indecent' to others).

This thread was obviously started for discussion and out of a need for good, sound Christian advice and not to be pulled into an argument about your nonsense.

Such attempts to dictate the form of replies to religious mind-blindness are summarily disregarded as unwarranted control-freaking.  Neither this thread, nor these forums are some some of exclusive xtian country club restricted to members-only.  There is no 'free pass' to post your propaganda unopposed.  Don't like freedom of speech? Don't read it; use the ignore button, osterich.

If you cannot distinguish between different members of FC who use similar, (but different 'nyms), you cannot be expected to make other distinctions, (like telling the difference between a baseless religious opinion and actual evidence supporting a claim).

To be clear, my post was addressing Falcon9 and the minions that follow him/her, whom I am now returning to IGNORE.

Addressing posts to someone whom you just claimed to be ignoring is not ignoring; it's passive-aggressive cowardice.

You don't like freedom of speech?  Don't read it; use the ignore button yourself, falcon9.  Stop with the name calling, too, while you are at it.  You are losing credibility in here with your words, attitude, and intolerance.  And before you tell me the same thing - look in your own mirror.  This is getting absolutely ridiculous what you are doing.  Keep pushing the boundary lines like you are doing - it will come back to bite you.
