There are quite a bit of work from home opportunities out there. You just gotta be careful which ones are real and which ones are scams. I do a bunch of paid surveys and of course FC. There is also blogging. So if you're into blogging, give that a try. Also, remember that it's going to take come efforts on your part in order to get paid a "good" bit of money.

every work form home site that I have run across on the internet want me to pay them so that I could work for them. I refuse to pay anyone to work for them. Why would I pay someone for an opportunity to work.

There's sites like Elance, Odesk, and PeoplePerHour.  You have to do some jobs that could almost count as slave labor for a month or so until you've built up a bit of a rep and have some portfolio items that you can show people though.  If you get good, you can find jobs as a virtual assistant for 40 hours per-week or copy writers with degree's charge 20+ dollars an hour depending on their experience.  Starting off you'd probably be writing for around 2 to 3 cents per word though until you've built up a bit of a rep.

There's two ways I can think of that could make you decent money. Sustainable income? ehhhh.. maybe/maybe not. First, if you are a photographer of any kind of skill you can always post to sites that pay you royalties when someone downloads your photos. If you can take good, clean, interesting shots of something that ppl are interested in you can make a decent amount. Do some searches to see what's trending and what's being downloaded the most recently. Secondly, you can always find places that will pay you to write articles. If your articles are interesting enough and get enough hits, you can make more money. If you get a portfolio of decent articles you may be able to apply for a position online to do articles as a job. Do some searching on the two subjects for more information. There's my two cents at least. Hope it helps!

As the internet continues to grow everyday, it is becoming more and more competitive to make a living online.  It is still possible, but one would have to remain focused and incredibly drive to be able to make it.  Making a supplemental is a bit easier with Paid to Click sites, but to make a consistent income to live off of is quite a bit more difficult.
