Nobody has talked about the Shooting in Aurora
« on: July 22, 2012, 11:26:20 pm »
We should talk about what the world feels on this. Have you ever seen a president spend 3 days talking with the victims.

People have said its the food we eat the video games or the violent movies that make people crazy like this. I don,t believe

any of that. What do you believe drives  a person to shoot up a movie theater and plan it for months.  ???

For a weapon like he had the typical fire rate for such a semi automatic is about 200 rounds a minute, if you know how to "bump fire" you can get close to 800 rounds a minute.  I believe the shooter had a 100 round drum, and that it may have jammed on him (which is why you never really want to use those on such a weapon).  An "assault weapon" is a made up term used to describe a variety of things included on a firearm (such as pistol grip, flash light, magazine size, bayonet, etc).
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Everyone, I think would like to move on.  The people in Denver is crazy, if things are not going right in their life they want to take other people life.  We need to pray for them and for ourselves.

There will always be some wacko go off the deep end at one time or another. And it may not be guns, how about bombs, gas. It just never seems to end.

This entire ordeal is just disgusting.  It is so sad what human beings are capable of doing to each other.

A lot of it has to do with the whole violent, moral-less culture we live in: video games, movies, etc. There are always going to be wackos out there, and I don't really think there is much anybody can do to stop them. But the violent atmosphere only adds to it, and encourages their erratic behavior.
Banning so-called "assault weapons," doesn't solve anything. For one thing, how do the looks of a gun have anything to do with how deadly it can be in the wrong hands? And why should I be told what features my guns can and can't have, just because someone goes off the deep end? The assault weapons ban that expired did nothing to stop crime, in fact it probably just made some criminals extra rich, because they could deal in illegal guns for high prices. That guy planned this thing for months, and I'm positive if he couldn't get the guns, he would have just used explosives, and blew the whole place to bits, with an even greater loss of life.

It's horrible, but I'm sure he's going to plead insanity. Have you seen the pictures of him falling asleep in court with his crazy joker dyed hair? There's no way this guy is in his right mind. I'm sure either way the trial aspect is going to be dragged on forever.

He's just faking all that spaced out stuff. If the prosecution has good lawyers they should be able to prove that he did it willfully and with full malice. Anybody that is competent enough to plan this massacre for months, is competent enough to stand trial and be punished for it. The so-called justice system is a total farce and mockery if they let mass murderers get away with their crimes on the plea of insanity. That rule should be struck from the books.

I'm positive this guy is and was completly within his sane mind when doing this. He had been planing this for months. Nobody knows why he has so much hatred, but all our courts will swifly put him in a place were he wont be able to hurt himself or anyone else for that matter. I pray for the victims and there family daily.
