The closest Wal-mart is a super store and it is well kept and organized.
The next closest Wal-mart is not a super store and is smaller and over packed with products.
We are spoiled to getting everything in one place.

Walmart is gross, yes, but not nearly as bad as K-Mart used to be when it was around.

It completely depends on the area.  I've been to some that are really clean and well-kept while at the same time, I've also seen some really run-down, dirty and the employees seemed like they didn't want to be there.  On the whole though, Wal-Mart is generally a decent place (I do prefer Target much more though).

Just got back from walmart and I don't know why, but whenever my wife buys hair dye, it seems like the box is always smooshed!?!?!? It's still cheap and the stuff inside is the same--so we'll still get it there. ;D

The two wal-marts I frequent are clean.  One has superior customer service and is pleasant to visit and the other has so few associates the ones you do see aren't happy since there work load is too much.  And the lines you have to stand in just to check out are absurd.  I've not been in Kroger yet but I heard it's stinky...like rotten fish?  Don't know bout that myself though.  I'll have to let you know after I visit one.

The two that I visit are clean, but they're always overcrowded. It's like the Christmas rush every time I shop.

Maybe your store is an old one. Ask your local store manager to upgrade your store into a Walmart Superstore. These Superstores are super large and really beautiful.

My local Wal mart is usually very clean, but i have in the past noticed that their bathrooms were not clean a few times.

The Walmart where I shop sometimes is pretty clean. They seem to have a ton of workers, so it should never be dirty.
