I hope everyone in Aurora can find the strength to get past this horrific tragedy. I went to elementary school at aurora elementary in the mid 80's and the people there are wonderful--this tragedy saddens me and I will pray for the victims still in the hospital.

"Prayers", (magical evocation rituals), to dubious religious egregores aren't of any pragmatic 'help' to either the victims or survivors of what happened.  There's no indication that such pseudo-comforting efforts are effective or, merely remain self-delusional 'comforts'.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

another tragedy for the nation to grieve over. There is no way that we can stop the senseless killing of innocent people. we can only pray for them and hope that things like this never happen again. Mass murder. Mass destruction. Holy Mass

I live in Denver, pretty crazy here. However, went by a movie theater nearby and it was packed.

The shooting was a tragic and senseless act of violence.  My prayers are with the people of Colorado.  May the Lord comfort you with His peace that passes understanding.

It's sad to this had to happen just because some punk could. It's scary how random it was, and it makes me wonder what else do we have to do to stop things like these from happening again.
