Fusion Cash Search Bar Problems...??
« on: July 15, 2012, 08:27:08 pm »
I just installed the search bar for f/c and i can't get it to work.  i type in a question to research, and it tells me my search was not valid and that i won't be rewarded any points.  i typed, "what is the temperature for 80014?".  any idea what i'm doing wrong?

Maybe your question is too complicated. I do not understand what "80014" is. Can you explain?  :dontknow:

Keep your searches simple. You have to have four valid searches in order to earn one cent. I search places, people, things .....  Hope that helps.

80014 is likely their zip code.

In order to get the bonus for searching, you should use the search bar for your usual day-to-day searching.  If you do "research sessions" or exhibit other out-of-the-ordinary search patterns, you wont qualify.

Weird.  Yeah, "80014" is my zipcode.  I check the weather every morning, so I didn't think that was out of my normal routine.  After hitting enter, I did get the results I wanted, and I clicked on the link to see what the forecast was...but still, not a valid search.

Anyways, just an update:  the searching seems to be working now.  I'm still not sure what the problem was initially, but it's working now.  Thanks for the help and suggestions!

Not all searches work. Some do and others do not. Do not take it to heart just try rewording the search.

I use the search bar. There were at times I received a pop up message saying that I didn't perform a qualified search. All I had to do was to keep searching until I got performed a valid search. Then I keep doing it until I reached my maximum search rewards earn. Then I do again the next day to keep earning.

My searches suddenly came up invalid, even though I'm using it legitimately.  I do tons of searches in the morning, for various items for cooking and fitness training classes.  Oh well, one more thing we need to work on.
