Why is it that some members can post their referral link with their banner as their forum signature and others cannot? I want to include my referral link in my sig banner but it keeps saying link removed.  Insight on this please?

Maybe it is a limitation as a newbie? I am not sure as I have never tried to do so.  I know Newbie's cannot post more than 9 postings. Maybe this is an additional limitation?

You are not allowed to post links, especially referral links in the forums. The only exception to that is posting a link to another part of the FC forum or site. See here: http://www.fusioncash.net/tos.php?forum

However, there's no point in including your referral link in your FC banner. Only FC members can see this forum, no one is going to click your link to sign up.

I think the OP was trying to say some can post their FC referral banner along with text below it. i.e. some users of the forum say soemthing about you can find them on google.

Ah, I see. Maybe I've been missing them, but I still do not think the posted links. It's usually just a line saying: search for me on google/youtube/etc. since we can't post outside links

Actually, the forums are publicly viewable (and searchable on Google) and a fair number of posts are ranking well (mostly for weird queries).

Anyway, the reason why you see some banners with links in people's signatures, while you cannot add the same yourself, is: a few months back the forum was modified to prevent all links in signatures because this feature was being abused.  This change was not retroactive, so anyone who already had a link in their signature still kept it.

In any case I can tell you that the odds of getting a referral from a link in your signature are quite low!
