I am a new member, but because I did UI work in the past I have alot of opinions. I am sorry if my posts are making you :BangHead: ,but I think that the small new symbol right beside the FC surveys on the main page should only be displayed if their is actually a new survey available for the account holder. You can accomplish this with a simple true false value. It always saying new sometimes confuses me because I think new survey.

I understand what you are saying but FC has no control over if the questions in the survey are new or not as those are given through survey companies. That is the purpose of taking qualifiers before the survey companies deem if they can use you or not.

no  :BangHead: I am not talking about the questions in the survey I am talking about the presence of a new survey title. It should trigger the new icon instead of the new icon being there all of the time.

Maybe they keep it there to attract your attention so that you will actually check them, because I stopped checking them for a while since I could never qualify for them. Obviously it's working  ;D And anyways, if you do your paid to click everyday they are going to bring you to that page anyway on the last step, so you will see if there are new ones there or not anyways.

If I didn't do the paid to click, sometimes I would forget to check them.  The FC surveys are not part of my main cashout on here, so I'm appreciative about it taking me there.  On the other hand- I'm not sure I know where the "new" symbol is at.  Is it on the FC survey page?

I think you might be referring to the "penny" icon next to some FC surveys.  That's to indicate that you'll get a 1c bonus if you start the survey but then get DQ'd.  I agree that it's not the clearest icon, but I wasn't able to find anything better looking.  We don't have any way of indicating that an FC Survey is 'new', although that could be implemented.

It's on the Offers Page under the Offers Categories. You will see FC Surveys and a little black bubble that says New next to it. I understand what they are saying though, because I actually thought the same thing once too- that I had a new survey, but I personally don't feel it's that big of a deal.

Thanks for the clarification!

THAT 'new' icon is there because the FC Surveys themselves were a new addition... some time ago :)
I went ahead and removed it since they don't really qualify as 'new' any more.

So say that the last step in Paid to Click is changed to something else and then you have to try and remember to check them from time to time. Is there a way to show that you have a new survey like stated above? Or maybe adding it to the Daily Offers  section or something like the other surveys, tasks, and videos that are there. Because that's pretty much where I go for my daily routine.

That does make some sense, if you've already completed the survey it should show as completed instead of new.

When you complete the survey, most of the time it will automatically update and the survey that you completed will disappear. What they are talking about, is the "New" sign that was next to FC Surveys in the Offers section. It may confuse some to think that they have new surveys waiting for them, but in reality the New sign was there because at one point FC Surveys were a new addition to the site. But Admin has taken it off now, since they are not really new anymore.

tbruff-- keep making these kind of suggestions, it is clear that the intention, expression and comprehension of many communications on here could stand tweaking. There are far too many times that information is incomplete or not easily understood it is refreshing to see that someone with tech ability can also see how confusing  some of the methods of communicating are weak, incomplete and confusing.
